What did it take to do the 8.8 swap? I'm currently working on getting one swapped into mine at the moment and I'm trying to see what I'm getting into.

Driveshaft, shock mounts, leaf mounts, e brake, wheel speed sensors are all needing some adjusting. You need to buy new rotors, calipers, and some adaptors if you’re not swapping axles.

What part of the drive shaft needed to be adjusted? Just a yoke swap? I got the speed sensors and axles figured out.

Ok, thought I had the sensors figured out but I guess not. Have the rear-end in and everything is driving but have the abs lights on traction control, etc. Did you stick with the factory sensors from the ranger rear end or did you use the corresponding f150 sensors?

I’ve been at it for a year and a half trying to get the f150 sensors to work in the ranger. It’s sucks, as I’m without abs, traction control, or cruise control. To my knowledges there is no way for the ranger module to accept the f150 sensors, since the f150 used those brake calipers that lock up.

Friday yet?

I know it is an old thread... but your response summed it up best!

I am sitting here in awe of this guy and his build. Don't even know what else to say.

Build is done, except secondaries! If you have any questions ask away. Notable upgrades/ most asked about: Custom mid travel kit, f-150 rear end, 37" big projects

FUCK YEAH nice Work! Did you find & pull the f150 rear end from a yard or is it a kit you bought? Damn man she looks good dont want to call it a fun haver just because of the wide body but I assume she knows how to have a good time. If you dont mind curious what ya have invested in the build roughly? I have a 20’ blue lariat crew… I was considering buying APG prorunner parts kit (i work @ ford dealer & have friends at local body shop so i was thinkin could save me bucks on labor vs down there at APG & save some more $ on shipping the truck or making the drive myself since i am in Seattle area...) just not sure if the trade off for time and know how would pay for it self vs me diy.
Diggin the $ for the fender kit @ADV. I know i couple tech homies who can help with the instal suspension & cutting off the front end of frame/crashbars.. & Looks like you need the body shop homies to get the fit right w/fiberglass ADV kit? I am assuming the APG carbon wide body is $$$$, & i dont have a stack of cash to throw at the truck, & want to do it right the 1st time.

When i started looking for wheels & mild lift she was lookin too top heavy & old school compared to purpose built prerunner raptor killer. I aint goin lie i am the fresh fish/ newbie to the prerunner scene so pardon dumb questions trying to learn as much as possible on what parts to use /trust or dont use. Like are king shocks a must have these days? I see you went with icon not real familiar but I’m seeing more of them as i dive in checkin out other builds. Also trying to figure what parts are UK or AUS & not worth the import/shipping cost, but lookin for the right components for best bang for buck that have been trusted on rangers abroad or trusted parts in prerunner desert scene for years so i too, can do some fun having & not fun breaking & rebuilding to some extent.

I think i recently saw a YouTube short of you rippin lake bed in this beast, Btw you named it yet?? If not Betty white for name wouldn’t be so bad.

Along those lines of creating content gotta put this out there to do the networkin thing… In case you need a 2nd camera man Iā€˜ve been real versatile photographer/videographer w/ lotta experience shooting in the Cascade Mtns shooting myself & homies shredding park & big mtn & backco shit on ski/board for past 15-20yrs.
To fill the off season I’ve ventured to the streets, that go off every weekend up here during spring summer & fall in south Seattle area. Mainly done some rolling shots & beauty/stills for friends whips which has inspired me to start shooting more & creating more car/truck content. I do lotta drone work & have bunch of different camera options to get variety of shots. I can traveling to the locations to help create some content or if you end up in the Pacific Northwest shoot me holler. If ya have something your looking to capture holler here to help.
Thx in advance for any info much appreciated.
