I just recently did a conversion from the 4 inch ford sync radio to the 8 inch ford sync 3.4. My question would be does anyone know how to get the climate control to show up on the radio? I've heard there's a way to do it, but am not sure of the steps or the process. I do have the forscan software but wasn't able to find the climate control when I went in to the software. Any help or walk through would be appreciated.

Might not work as yours is a base model. Did you use a company for the conversion or just DIY? I did this to my wifes last explorer with a company and it came with a flash tool that activated all these items.

They make it work. Might be worth a call to them. They are not cheap but it was cheaper for is than paying for a higher trim.
