In case any of these details matters, I am just going to give a full runthrough with when the car start having underpower issue.

It all started on January, when i was going about 70-80kmph full throttle up a decently steep hill, at about 3000RPM, the car will stutter very badly, no check engine light or whatsoever, and it would only stutter going up on a hill. Took it to the Ford authorized workshop (no dealer where I am), they told me it might be a fuel sensor (I supposed it's a fuel rail pressure sensor), which they charged me around 210USD. That did fixed the stutter issue, but the car is now underpowered, a hill that i used to be able to climb at about 90kmph consistently, now would only able to maintain about 50-60kmph, it feels like the torque just isn't there on a hill. At some point I got a check engine light while driving so I took it to the dealer again, they suspect it's the IAT sensor, which it is combined with a MAP sensor? The mechanic helped me cleaned it, test drove it after, no luck.

Started noticing the car having RPM fluctuate at cold start, air-con on and in gear, and also bad fuel ecnomy, tried doing some DIY myself and cleaned the MAF sensor with some electronic cleaner, start the car and the check engine light immidiately came on. So I took it back to the dealer again, and that's the scan I got which I attached the photo, they told me the MAF isn't the issue, and might be a broken MAPT sensor(IAT and MAP combined?) which might contribute to the turbo underboost, sensor with photo attached. They quoted me around 320USD for that sensor, which I find ridiculous so I decided to buy it elsewhere myself and change it myself. Found the stockist for Ford here online and bought the sensor for 40USD include shipping!! I've attached a photo with both old and new sensor having different part number, they claimed that it's the correct sensor for my model, it's just that Ford updated the sensor.

Changing the sensor still didn't fix my issue, the car currently still RPM fluctuate at cold start, bad fuel economy, and underpowered. I am desperate, hope someone will be able to help me fix this as I don't want to take it to the workshop if I can as they overcharge. I apologized if my post is somehow confusing in advance.

You keep saying car? Is it a car you're talking about or a truck.

There are none of the 2.0 BiTurbo diesel’s in the U.S. so we won’t be of much help

So yes Ford does have the Intake Air Temp Sensor and Map Sensor combined. This is common on different manufacturers that even the MAF will have the IAT as well built in. It's not as bad as Ford having it built into the EGR Valve at one point.

Seeing those codes, the shop is not wrong that the sensors could be a possibility, but it does not mean you just replace it. You have testing to do. My suggestion is to take it to a local shop with Technicians that know how to test instead of just read a code and want to replace a part without testing(assuming there is no bulletin that applies)

Do you have any idea what kind of tests needed to be done? Live in a small town and the shop here aren’t that good with euro-American vehicles. Replaced the sensor as that’s what the Ford specialist told me to, didn’t want to go back because they suggest that they’re gonna take the turbo system apart if the sensor replace doesn’t work and potentially replace the whole thing which is gonna cost me couple of thousands.

Ranger5G caters specifically to US Ranger variant since 2019...there's probably many other forums out there more helpful for ROW Rangers?

I'm sure I read about similar issues in 2019 Raptors and biturbo Rangers in Australia, but I can't find anything in the groups I'm in. I think it was the MAP sensor. Is that screen grab all the codes you have?

Just checking out the Transit forums, it could be the injectors. If you're still in warranty get the dealership to do further diagnosis.

Yeah that’s all I have, I did replace the MAP sensor, it’s the photo with the 2 sensor I have. However it didn’t solve the issue, I wonder if I’m going to need to clear the code for the ecu to realize the sensor has been replaced?

Yeah my model does have a common injector failure issue, but mine is actually working perfectly fine, they’re all injecting the same amount of fuel with A/C on and off, and with throttle.
