Those should be coolant lines from the looks of them.
(I hate posting from my phone, so here is a longer response)
That looks for all the world like a cooler block that mounts to the side of the engine and then the filter mounts to it. The oil will be fed in from the backside of it, so those larger tubes carry the coolant.
Wouldn't be surprised if the seals on the oil side leak, not terribly uncommon.

My wife drives a '17 Escape. Tried to talk her out of it, but she had to have it. Within six months she could't stand it.
It has 85K miles on it now and weekly says she wants a Maverick, in case I forgot the last 75 times she told me.
Where is this coolant thing so I can check it on hers.

No idea but MY07 the oil cooler line started leaking so I cut it & put a rubber line in, that worked great for 1 month. Unrelated issue came up, the dash 'burnt' smoke filled the vehicle, turned it off waited for a fireball but none came. I started it again all seemed fine. I took the vehicle out a week later & found out the there in no more heat in the truck & the temp goes all the way up. Seems the water pump no longer works. Scrap yard time.
it's located directly behind the oil filter...the filter screws o to it.
