I agree, its 20 degrees out with 30 mph winds. Starting Horizon Forbidden West game ,so sitting in front of the fireplace playing a game sounds good to meThats still a pretty good day ....
The Wildpeaks are damn good tires, quiet and handle very good.the stock bridgestones on my truck SUCK in the snow, this is my second winter with them, falken wildpeaks in this mans future...............
I do mostly , just kinda glance at the camera to check for doggo's ...wifeys Nissan Murano has some kind of top down view , it is awsome and I go new school on that one...you'll soon find out it doesnt like the dark much either
you're old school though, should still be backing up with your mirrors and by feel.
If it's any consolation, the Bridgestone tires on my XL aren't anything to write home about either. I'm thinking Vredenstein or Continental/General this fall. Maybe Yoko Geolandar -- something with severe snow service rating. Does anyone have any winter favorites? If you're on the stock Hankooks you'll want to upgrade before next winter.
They're garbage.
Try cooking this recipe up next time you get a chance.
1 open area
4 TM button pushes to "sand mode"
1 long push and hold of AdvanceTrak button
1 long push of locker button.
Apply throttle and steering inputs liberally and enjoy.
My Toyo Open Country AT3s aren't "winter tires" per se but they are 3peak rated and do great in the snow.If it's any consolation, the Bridgestone tires on my XL aren't anything to write home about either. I'll look into them, thanks. My Toyo Open Country AT3s aren't "winter tires" per se but they are 3peak rated and do great in the snow.
Just put the Cooper AT3s on my Jeep but probably won't get a chance to try them out in the snow before next season.
What part of WV are you from?Well , woke up to damn near a foot of snow (AFTER I spent all day yesterday cleaning mine , and now every time ,wifeys vehicle) so off I go at 5:30 am and im hitting 4H ! (Which surprisingly I have not done yet , or the rear locker) making tracks out of the hollow since I am 1st one out ! Damn , really felt solid...boots on the ground , few minutes in and a little test sliding (gotta know where the line IS before you cross it ) and I felt compleatly confident... I doubt she will she much mud , but she will see snow , and seems to thrive in it ... Pleasently surprised , I expected it to do. well, just didn't expect it to feel that comfortable doing it...
