If you're an adult making minimum wage these days, that's a you problem, not a government problem.
…and at least… I'll give you an r :lipssealed:

There's almost no business these days paying less than $10/hr. It's just not a thing.

......
No idea where you're getting your data from, but this is absolutely false.

Aside from the food service industry, I can't think of anyone that'd be paying any less than $10/hr either, although I have no scientific-type data stuff to back that up. Out here in AZ, the state has its own minimum wage that is currently $12.80/hr.

Not sure what you mean by that.
I've been both a company driver and an owner-operator (independent contractor) and although most of this guy's humor is kinda weird, the points he made are not off-base in my experience.

Not off base at all. That is why I brought up a group who makes less than minimum wage (watch video for why I say that) in work that is clearly more valuable than what they really being home.

I made the mistake once of trying to figure out how much I made per hour as a company driver.
Big mistake, as it hurt my feelings pretty badly to see what I was making.
Best pay I ever made was as a Union (Teamster) driver, as we got paid for practically everything we did. (Roadway Express, Preston Trucking).

The local McDonalds has a 'Now Hiring' sign. Starting pay 'up to $10 hour'.
That's a lie. I haven't seen a McDonald's offer less than $12/hr. in over 5 years now. Unless you're referring to the one McDonald's in a remote region of Madagascar.
