I recently purchased some 0 mm offset steel wheels for my Ranger. On the rear they fit beautifully, but on the front there is a piece of the brake caliper that comes in contact with the inside of the wheel. I have looked through the forums quite a bit, but I cannot find the answer to my question.

For those who are running .25" wheel spacers, did you have to install extended lugs to make sure you had enough thread for your lug nuts?

A ET lug nut would be ideal as you want to make sure you have proper thread engagement. Make sure that the lug does not engage the spacer so the wheel will sit flush.

What wheel are you running?

I'm running Pacer Soft 8 297B. I also purchased lug nuts with the wheels. Though they don't specifically have them listed as ET lug nuts on the site, they are larger than my OEM lug nuts.

An ET lug will NOT work with the steel wheel. You will need to stay with the conical style lug nut.

Your local Discount Tire location carries them in stock.

For those who find this post in the future, I was able to run 1/4 spacers with the factory wheel lugs and I just barely got 8 full turns on the lugs nuts best I could tell. I've only got a few hundred miles on them at this point, so I'll try to remember to post an update after a while of running them.
