Thank you! I have the red and gold ones from Belltech but they just make them too long. I’m either making a custom upper mount for more travel or I’ll make brackets and run Vikings or Ridetech ones.
I’m not sure what you mean, nobody said anything about lowering the front 4”
The axle angle at 2.5-2.75” isn’t very bad and I’m sure 3” wouldn’t be terrible. It’s not much different than increasing the front height by 3” as far as the axles are concerned.
I’m planning on getting control arms and better coilovers soon. I’d like to get my drop closer to 3/5, it’s currently closer to 2.5/5 because Belltech doesn’t allow for much front travel and the springs and valving are too soft. I love the improved ride, traction and handling but their shocks...
Just a reminder that no lift is for amateurs. Try lowered on 33’s! Actually I changed my tire size a little bit so I can get a little better performance and I might drop it more soon. I am now…. Lowered on 32’s!
I have always been custom tuned but I can tell you that any well written tune will compensate for most bolt on parts. The benefit to a custom tune is obviously to dial in the combination.
I have been on and off the dyno and street driven with lots of different parts changes, most of the time I...
Full bolt on, e30 and a turbo upgrade.
I’m getting 18mpg on my normal commute (mixed driving, dropping kids, remote starting and using drive through daily, mostly in sport and with “spirited driving”)
On a simple trip (90%. Highway limited traffic and no real stopping but still speeding etc)...
I have my leaf springs clamped in front to control axle wrap, it made a big difference for me and it helped equal out the leaning my truck did side to side.
I’d still like a better solution but in the end a link suspension with coilovers is calling my name.
You may have noticed that it’s a Colorado area truck…and the pulls were done in JANUARY! I’m sure incredibly cold air didn’t make any difference at all ? the amount of correction they are using (or gear they are using for the dyno pulls) is way off. In most any circumstance a stock Ranger will...
