  1. Wiring Diagram needed

The working range is listed as 15 meters and it is noted that for short distance the antennas can be left off. They also list them having a unique ID address code. They have to be paired together. So... I'm going to give it a shot anyway. The transmitter (under the wheel) will work with 12V...

Wondering why? Power usage of 433 MHz devices is also relatively low and comparable to other dedicated home automation standards like Z-Wave or Zigbee. This makes 433MHz also suitable for battery-operated devices like wireless sensors or buttons. This technology is currently used in smart...
  3. Holder for your cell phone and that silly dash tray...

First version is done... Thinking of adding a 52mm cup for a boost gauge. Just sits in your dash tray. 2 phones will fit side by side. Get it HERE: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6137386
  4. Holder for your cell phone and that silly dash tray...

That is what I have... and the original plan was to have 2 parked like a garage, or more like a 3 sided carport to keep the sun off the phone. But now I am thinking just a phone slot on one side and a 52mm gauge hole would be more useful. Yes the phone will stick out of the tray, but at a slope...
  5. Holder for your cell phone and that silly dash tray...

This is just a hobby for me. I'm no expert by any stretch. I was going to do it black... and just waiting for another spool of PTEG (tomorrow). I tried to 3d scan the tray, no luck in that. So I just used a piece of wire to contour the bottom shape of the tray, that worked well. The upper trim...
  6. Holder for your cell phone and that silly dash tray...

Maybe one side should have a 52mm hole for a boost gauge. (I don't need 2 cell phone holders).
  7. Holder for your cell phone and that silly dash tray...

Living in Rural America I get much better reception (IE: less dropped calls etc) when my phone is on the dash vs. being in my pocket. Ford gave is a nice little pocket on the dash, however it is in full SUN to which my phone goes into melt down. So my plan is to 3d print I nice little easy to...
  8. Wiring Diagram needed

This would be the better route (IMO). tap +12 and ground at the steering wheel. Wire K1 and K2 to UP/DN buttons. Then at the shifter: $16 @ the Jungle Store As shown in the above pic... you will need 2 relays. I plan on using a pair of reed relays at the shifter. Running off of...
  9. Wiring Diagram needed

I have the Explorer wheel sitting in my office. I checked the pinouts on the CLOCK SPRING. They are totally different, which I think I posted the wiring diagram for both here. There are spare pins on the connector but not sure they go through to the other side (need to check at the CLOCK...
  10. Wiring Diagram needed

Excellent!!! The more people we can get working on this we will figure this out. It will encourage me to get it done as well. I had my center console out to put the LED light in the shifter, but I wouldn't even reach the connector as it's under the shifter. IE: No fun to be had there. As I...
  11. Wiring Diagram needed

Yeah probably cheaper just to get a used wheel.
  12. Wiring Diagram needed

2016-2019 Explorer steering wheel with paddles (They don't all have them, as it was an option). The Steering wheel is REAL close to the Ranger wheel, but the airbag is indeed different. Which makes it not a direct swap. However my 2020 Ranger does indeed have the drilled and taped holes for the...
  13. More pep without tune?

They have to proof that what was installed caused the failure. I had Nitrous on a Turbo Supra and the dealer replaced the turbo under warranty ($2100 at that time). The beauty of Ford Performance is it is blessed by FORD.
  14. More pep without tune?

The Warranty is still valid. The Ford Performance Tune gives you a 3-year/36,000 Mile Ford Performance warranty when installed by a dealer. This kit is approved by FORD (it is 50 state legal). But you are also covered by the Magnuson Moss Act: What is the Magnuson Moss Act? According to the...
  15. TPMS BRONCO RIMS ON RANGER

I bought a Autel TPMS tool many years back and has been nice to add to your tool box. I do believe the Bronco TPMS are the same as the Ranger, 315Mhz The F150's use 315Mhz and 433Mhz TPMS The TPMS tool doesn't do much other than WAKE up the sensors... and give you the serial number and...
  16. Adding Rain Sense

I'll find out this next year... For me it's not so much turning them on as it is turning them off. When your passengers say.... "Are you gonna turn those off?" you know you may need this mod.
  17. "The perfect stance" confusion

Thank You... It started life OEM looking :) and I had to change that. I spent many hours with that link trying to figure out what fits and what doesn't. I couldn't be happier with the end result, this will sound weird, but it drives so much better. Maybe those stock Hancook tires are junk. I...
  18. "The perfect stance" confusion

Use this tool.... It will get you to that perfect stance: https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/ Below: Radar Renegade 275/55-R20 on Mamba M14 20x9 12mm offset
  19. More pep without tune?

The FORD Performance tune is worth every penny. The shifting for me was also improved. I'm not a huge fan of the S'urprise option on the shifter so I just leave mine in D'o it mode. I do have 20" rims, slightly bigger tires and a canopy on it and this last tank of Super I got 23 MPG.
  20. Adding Rain Sense

Wish I had that option... but then again my truck as a loss leader, so it was what it was. But I only paid $32k out the door. I did replace my windshield in 2022, had I known I would have gotten the Rain Sensor windshield.
