Some exhaust systems have a "ball" type joint that allows for some misalignment. I've even seen these with springs on the bolts to allow the pipe to pivot but still hold the everything together. I haven't looked at my truck to see if any sort of joint is there, but you might check. It might need...
Have you checked the exhaust system? It pretty much just hangs there. One of the hangers may be squeaking. Quick check by just grabbing the tailpipe (after it has cooled) and give it a shake.
I haven't checked, but most rotors have a minimum thickness. So with excessive wear and turning, they might need to be replaced regardless of appearance.
I'd bet on the code being thrown for no bulb.
I've had 2 different soft tops, and both had LED high mount brake lights. Both were wired in from the truck bed brake light circuit as per the instructions that came with them.
I wouldn't go all the way to the cab high mount brake light if I didn't...
From my point of view, Ford should have included the TBC with the trailer tow package, especially since only one TBC is approved.
Alternatively, Ford could have offered a basic tow package and an upgraded tow package. The basic package could include a standard flat connector and receiver hitch...
You could have a poor connection when you plug your adapter in. It should be a little difficult to remove. I usually reach behind the port with my fingers, have the heel of my hand against the adapter, then squeeze.
It may be worth noting that a lot of the instructions reference number addresses and require a change to a hex value. The latest Forscan has menu picks so it's much more intuitive.

You have a 2019? 2020 doesn't have the button. Ford deleted that feature for 2020 and I suspect Ford is using what's left of 2019 parts so the only things missing are the hole in the cover and the button.
I use one of these:

I tried one of the cheap light testers, but the truck wouldn't recognize it was there, and wouldn't turn on the...
Ok, that's what I thought I saw. Hard to tell in the photos with all the grease in there.
Having taken a bunch of CVs apart, I knew this could happen, but have been lucky in that it's not happened to me!
Just curious, it looks like you cut the boot cirvumferentially. Did you not want to cut...
Phil,
I can't express how much I enjoy your back stories and experiences, although maybe a little too much detail with this one!
Both my old 2000 Ranger Super Cab and my 2011 Ranger Super Cab had flip seats. I really liked those because they didn't take up a lot of room, but were there if you...
