Sounds like a good deal either way, but I'm confused by the " - 501a Package (Technology, FX4, Remote Start) ". FX4 is a separate package from 501A. Are you saying you have that separately or was that a typo? With or without the FX4, the price looks pretty great.

Not sure how the bed extender is going to act like a bike rack. I plan to get the extender, simply because our bikes will struggle to fit properly in the 5' bed without turning the wheels and turning the wheels makes it impossible to use our bike covers. Help me understand what you are trying...

I would be absolutely devastated for our road bikes if I did that!!! Thankfully, we are both short so we decided early on that roof racks would not work for us. Poor Chris, indeed.

I totally get that. That's a LOT of hassle to go through, especially getting past the firewall. I would think a custom truck/4x4 shop could do it for less money than that.
