This park was completely sold out for the winter. Then, our Canadian friends couldn't show up. Come on down, brother; lots of room, now! :D Although, two months might not be enough. I spent most of my career teaching technology and computers, but when they see me with a screwdriver in my...
That is strange why they won't let you build these options individually. The reverse-sensing system and the 110 power can be added as stand-alone options. The mirror could be added by your dealer, and I'm guessing the leather wrap on the wheel and shifter wouldn't be too difficult, either...
I can finally see what my changes look like on my monitor, instead of in my head! :D
On the left is what I would have ordered, given that the Tremor wasn't available. FX4 plus Sport packages, plus a few other things. On the right, the same options but the Tremor replacing the FX4 and Sport...
Yeah, I know there is an extra relay that must be purchased to make this happen. I really don't like the shared method but I really don't like messing with wiring, either! :D
Nice work, John. Did you wire the tail lights in the Ranger as a shared system, with the brake light sharing the duties of brake lights and turn signals, or did you add the extra diode to keep the separate functionality?
I don't believe Ford is alone in this regard. We get a new vehicle every three years (more than that when we were still working) and most of the vehicles we have specced out have differed from reality, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. While that shade of "gray" might not be striking...
Well, now I know why they ran it early! They aren't running ANY Super Bowl ads this year.

Well, for those of you who aren't college football fans, they just aired the full 1-minute version of this commercial on the College Football Championship game. I can't wait to see the buzz on it. I was expecting it on the Super Bowl, but they ran it now.
You do realize the Ford family owns the Lions, right? No one, and I mean NO ONE, from Denver or any other city in America has a right to feel bad about their football teams compared to the poster boys for putrid, the Detroit Lions!
I think the Maverick might have worked for us size-wise, as well. Unfortunately, it's not going to be a vehicle that can be flat-towed and that's a must-have for us.
I think you kinda missed the point. Lots of advertising makes you laugh or entertains you but when it's over, you don't remember what company it was for or what the point was. This one nailed both.
Just for fun, I asked my wife to watch this and told her nothing about what it was for. She is definitely NOT a car person, BTW. She chuckled at watching the colt slipping and sliding, but when it was over, she said "That was very good. I thought at first it might be a Budweiser commercial...
