Trucks designed for it, I leave mine on 24/7 and I hardly even notice it now. Funny part about most of the people who complain about it and turn it off or disable it is that they will also turn around and tell you letting it idle is bad for the engine lol. Just do whatever feels better to you...
I like the idea of being a low profile mount in the dash tray(not the biggest fan of being drilled in), but does anyone have this phone mount or one similar? Here’s a link to one for an F150 and the dash tray looks similar to ours. Looks well built...
Have you noticed any difference after installing? I’d find it hard to imagine any gain when the intake tube is still the same size. Looks cool though
On RTR's Instagram they said that they ran 265/70/R17s with the 0mm offest and they had no issues (with the Fox 2.0 leveling kit). After reading this post I am a little bit worried because those are the exact rims that I just ordered lol. Truck looks great btw! The Lund fender flares would look...
I’m about to pull the trigger on a set of RTR Tech 6 rims and I can’t for the life of me decide on which color I like better. If you have these rims on your truck can you post a picture? Thanks!
Well for what it’s worth, i’ve only ran 93 octane since day 1 and full synthetic oil and I do not have this issue. Although I will be smelling my dipstick from now on lol
Yeah I definitely agree with both points, however, I do run K&Ns on my atvs in the sand dunes and dirt trails where there is tons and tons of dust and I have never had any issues (although I do run outerwears on top of the filter as well).
For people that have one of the CAI systems installed, do you like it? Any noticeable improvement in power and/or mpg? I am liking the way that the Mishimoto seems to be better engineered than the competition (intake hose is larger, intake system scoop is larger, dry filter, and high quality...
You are correct. I assumed they were aluminum because I was washing my truck and put too much pressure on the wash mitt apparently and the metal pushed in (no damage, but still). Never had that issue with my old truck
I don’t know about you, but this is my first vehicle that uses aluminum in the body (including doors) and I think that could be why you feel that way
