That's a pretty ridiculous statement to make. The Rangers tow as much as a full size did not even a decade ago. The Ford Performance tune also gives a significant bump in torque throughout the RPM range and one could easily think that it would be a great upgrade for towing. If Ford had stated...
It's possible it kicked in and I didn't notice I suppose, but i'm pretty good about noticing lights flashing (I've owned Chevys for the last 15 years lol), which I didn't. If we ever get snow again I will take a video of me doing it.
I just got to break in the 4wd system on my Ranger this past week as we got our first snow fall. I can say with 100% confidence that you hold the traction off button for 5-10 seconds (didn't time it sorry) and you will get absolutely no form of traction control or stability control whatsoever...
Basically the way I understand it (someone correct me if im wrong) is that you still maintain your vehicles factory warranty as long as the tune didn't cause the damage. However, if the FPP tune IS at fault of damaging something it will be covered as long as you're within 3 years/36,000 miles...
I have a 2020 and I am having these same issues. i printed out the TSB (I know it's for a 2019) and handed it to the dealer just to show them that yes, this issue does exist. I dropped it off at the dealer this morning and I should get it back tomorrow morning. I will let you know what they...
Hello Benny, I am interested in a few FPP on your website, is this still applicable? Also, would I be able to get
Hello Benny, I am interested in the FPP tune as well as the FPP Fox 2.0 level kit, is the additional discount still available? Also, does Levittown install these parts? Thank you!
Do you happen to know if Livernois makes the FPP tune? I've seen some threads where people have thought this is the case, but I have not seen anything definitive. I'm very tempted to get a tune and I really like how the Livernois tune puts focus on down low torque, but I am a little hesitant...
Finally got some snow up here in the Northern Virginia. Ranger did great!! First time using it in 4wd and I have to say, Im really impressed with snow mode as well. Definitely keeps the truck in control, although, 2wd with traction off is still more fun ;)
New member here,
Just bought a 2020 Ford Ranger Lariat FX4 after being a life time Chevy owner. I needed a pick-up and I was initially cross shopping ZR2s and Tacomas. Figured I'd go test drive the Ranger before I buy a truck as I really liked how it looked... glad I did because I absolutely...
