Yeah stock tune. It’s my daily driver and while I like doing some mods it’s got plenty of power and fun for what I need it to do. I want the truck to last me. Every other vehicle I’ve owned has either been 20+ years old or had 200k plus miles on them lol with care and good maintenance I’ll...
I’m at 44k now. Change my oil around every 5000mi. I get 21mpg with 33s. No misfires, no CEL, no loss of performance or issues to report…. yet
Maybe some members with higher mileage will chime in
Been thinking about this also. I probably won’t do it until I see a problem. I feel like I can easily rig up my outdoor sandblaster gun and a shop vac and DIY recreate that machine he’s using.
You should email velossatch and k&n and tel them that your independent research shows that their products don’t do what they say they do. But that would be too much effort and no 3 min if fame for you.
My point was maybe you should just ask more questions “opening some dialogue” rather than just belittle people and call them clowns on the internet.
So if I starve my engine for air by blocking 3/4 of the air filter off there’s no change to performance or mpgs cuz the computer is gonna automatically-magically add in enough air to create the optimal af ratio at all rpm’s?
I have a 17 foot Coleman and use the bed hitch extension for local use only. And if I decide to go further than the lake that is in our neighborhood I have bed racks to put it above my roof. I have a supercab so that’s 11ft hanging out the back of the truck. Definetly would not recommend driving...
Here in NJ it’s any trailer over 3000 lb gross weight is required to have trailer brakes. Soo check your local laws.. here is a link to the “ford” TBC that a dealer would install https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/vkb3z-2c006-a.html like other said though there are lots of aftermarket...
I recalled seeing this in the owners manual regarding using brake controllers and trailer brakes in general (surge or electric) so something to keep in mind that ford recommends this
I like your keep it simple attitude. To get an exact measurement WOULD take some overthinking in this case lol and a scale of some sort.. weigh an individual shovel full and keep track if OP is really worried about it.. or just go till you feel comfortable
We had a Taurus station wagon growing up and my brother and I would sit in the rear facing fold down seats on road trips and I’d get real nauseous. It was still a great time though
I’m willing to buy a factory exhaust and hang onto it if someone in or near Jersey has one to sell relatively cheaply cuz nothing you buy that’s quiet is gonna fit and hold up quite like factory exhaust imo (yeah it’ll still rot out eventually) but it’s far better than piecing and patching one...
I’m guessing the proper ( and legal) thing to do is bring it to the local police station and if no one claims it within x amount of days it can become yours.. my dad found 700 something dollars in a bag on the lawn of a customers property he was working on once and the homeowner had no idea...
So you’d think… I came upon a bunch of Milwaukee tools that fell out of the bed of a pickup with an open tailgate and good old “One-key” got me arrested… “theft of lost, abandoned or mislaid property”
