I agree with a tonneau cover the problem of dirt would be lessened. It would be great for something like a slow off-roading trip but not at highway speeds
Way to much wind and dirt flying in from the bed of the truck imo… its cool but I’ve bad experiences with opening the sliding rear windows on several pickups and trashing the cab lol( with front windows down also) all the air comes flying forward into the cab and I also had a soft top wrangler...
I even checked the wastegate actuator cuz I’ve heard and seen it doin it’s thing while the truck is idling but I couldn’t recall ever seeing the arm move when the truck is off, it didn’t seem to be coming from there… I still could be wrong cuz like I said I didn’t really investigate tooo hard...
Ive heard the typical fuel pump noise and other random stuff but one day after I had washed the truck I was cleaning my wheels while sitting on a milk crate and every 15-30 seconds for at least 5 min straight it would make a buzzing noise which sounded like it was coming somewhere in the...
I don’t have pictures at time of seeing this thread but I have a 17ft Coleman canoe. I use universal bed racks that can be taken on or off in minutes in my supercab. 800 pound capacity on the racks, canoe weighs 95 pounds. It’s extremely secure and tied down with several cam-lock tie downs...
I have a 2019 supercab and have only had problems with ice in the winter on the front ones, it’s annoying. It eventually stops beeping at me on its own after MAX a minute or 2.. I don’t have a solution other than to try drying it.. maybe water is finding it’s way into places it normally wouldn’t...
I drove a 68 mustang fastback in high school and if I was parking in shady locations( givin you can just pop the hood and steal that car with a screwdriver on the starter solenoid and a lead wire to the ignition coil) I’d pull the rotor outta the distributor and put it in my pocket. Chances are...
I think OPs truck just needs to be cleaned and the wheels will match muuuuch better. I have the exact same truck and what a difference it makes when the tires are cleaned and shined. You’ve got brand new rims on a dirty truck lol as he stated in his original post
Does Ford have a use for this threaded hole in the bed? I can’t seem to find a good reason for Ford including it since it’s positioned behind the tailgate latch..just curious
How do you take the headrests out if they don’t fold? I have a supercab and the only way to physically remove the headrest is to fold it so it doesn’t hit the headliner
From what I’ve heard the only way to get rid of the 4 cylinder sound is to have unequal length headers which I guess can’t be done with our turbo integrated to the manifold.. otherwise it’s something I’d definetly look into to
I have the weathertech inchannels for the supercab so only front windows which have been fantastic, no complaints. One thing I found intriguing is it says made in Germany on them, doesn’t weathertech pride itself in being made in USA? That’s the impression I get from all their commercials anyway
In looking into it I found another thread on here that says the factory tie downs are rated for 661 lbs. idk what they can max out at but I guess that would be the number to shoot for
My only concern with this would be with the flat bar really..there’s no structural rigidity or bends in it to give it strength. It’s a short span of 3 inches so it’s not long and wobbly but cheap thin flat bar stock tends to give a lot and it COULD not would deform under certain conditions.
