Thanks , it turned out pretty good . I think I'm going to replace the FX4 decals with some black ones to tie it in more if I can find some the same size . My buffer was a Cyclo model 4 that I have had since 1987 . I had 2 newer model 5s but sold them when I closed the business . I liked the all...

  5. Drive by Wire Throttle Calibration Procedure

The transmitter sticks for my radio controlled aircraft are nothing more than a position sensor (Hall Effect) yet they are easily calibrated using a similar action . I'm curious as to why you think nothing can be achieved in a similar manner other than replacing the pedal ?

You can get a lot of miles out of one with never changing it all . People are just throwing $$$ away if they intend to trade it in anyway .

  12. Does this hitch step look like a POS?

Not here to argue , just pointing out something to be aware of . Many advertise to sue your own insurance company for your own injuries after an accident involving a hitch , imagine the ones that sue on behalf of the occupants of the other vehicle ...

  14. Does this hitch step look like a POS?

Don't know but probably has fine print that states for off road use only , check local laws before installing or similar . Reminds me of the shock absorbing bumpers mandated in the late 70's before crumple zones or airbags etc .
  15. Does this hitch step look like a POS?

The problem arises after a crash . There was a big lawsuit over one that bowed in the front bumper of a car that prevented the airbag from deploying correctly . It was a long time ago so I can't recall the outcome but you have to be aware of how it will affect someone that hits you from behind ...

  19. HOODS

Sanded the hood with 180 grit yesterday and sprayed some black epoxy primer on both sides mainly to use as a guide coat . 320'd today and didn't find any pin holes or imperfections . This is a good hood . Hopefully I can get it painted sometime next week . I don't want to blend in the fenders...
  20. LED HEADLIGHT BULBS

I've never had any issues with replacement LEDs in a reflector housing as long as the bulb was positioned correctly as well as the aim of the light itself . A lot of people do buy the cheap bulbs that have no adjustability and also cause can cause radio interference as well , but a lot of...
