The Lightning would be perfect for me as it's use would be solely for driving to work and around town and to tow my tractor around for short distances . The Bronco and the wife's car would handle everything else .

I don't live in a flood prone area and it has a 8 year warranty so that's not a worry for me . If it was under water long enough for the batteries to go poof I would not want it anyway , EV or ICE .

No I test drove it for about 20 miles . I've had a reservation for one since within the 1st 2 minutes of the reveal last year and Ford just sent me the invitation to order one . They can't even make the first two trims so still can't order what I want :(

I finally received my invitation to order a Lightning so went to test drive one today . A 1st 2 minute reservation and they just now let me order one . Oh wait , no they didn't ! The Pro is sold out for 2023 and you can't place an order for an XLT because they will evaluate supply issues...

The stuff has been out for near 30 years at this point and I have never heard of any issues . I have used it on 3 of my vehicles without issue . All of them had fibrerglas hoods and I wanted to protect the paint from the heat . It deadens the sound a ton also .

I suppose you could place blame on the CEO of almost every company out there . I work for a tier 1 supplier to Ford ,BMW , MB , Toyota , Samsung electric , Stellantis , GM etc and we have issues getting parts for all the lines . We can not even get power transformers from the power company to...
