I never could get the set of 2 blade LED bulbs to work correctly in my '91 Ranger or the '07 F-150 . I ended up with the 3 blade sets in both and they did well . The 3 blade Leds produce a more 360 pattern of light like the halogen and are easier to get rotated in the reflector correctly IMO .
I just ran across this thread and 20 minutes later I have folding rear headrest ! Easy mod and I actually like the hidden button look better than the big black plastic pc . I simply cut a pc of 1/2" wooden dowel the same length as a AA battery and dropped it in .

I've been to Pell City a few times this last year as the Town & Country dealership is where my Lightning reservation is through . I did not see a Ranger any of those trips though .
I've only seen 3 other Rangers in town since I purchased mine last year . One was Silver , a Cactus Gray and today another Rapid Red . I parked close by at the Home Depot and just missed the owner driving away when I was coming back out . We even had the exact same grill ,lol .
Back in the day I made floor , roof consoles and speaker enclosures in a similar fashion but instead of wrapping in vinyl I used speaker grill cloth . You can stretch the grill cloth easily around bends and corners with no wrinkles and staple to the rear . Take a good paint brush that does not...
One thing my shop did was install high end car audio and after 20 years of that , especially after the 90's big BOOM craze , I just roll with the factory system now . The B&O in the Ranger is pretty decent if you get the settings dialed in .
