A friend of mine ran an lsvtec in a hatch back in the days of me running a nitrous fed elantra. That lsvtec was freaking awesome. Not sure ive see a b20 with a vtec head on it.
I actually like it for a run up on the highway here in Houston. Sitting at a stop, select S... because who knows if Ill need WOT and some extreme stuff to get on the ramp.... or can I just putz on up to highway speed. Not that it would take much to push the button but I like that I can just bump...

My 09 running the same boost was literally bent in half by an asshole that thought the ebrake was for emergency stops.
He hit it so hard the stock wing and back glass stayed at the point of impact. Also, with it being in gear and the ebrake set with sticky michelins it moved about a full block...
My stock 4x2 meets those federal numbers; after I got about 5k miles and turned ASS back on. Unless I am being a goofy ass with the way I drive or exceed 75 on the highway. It really starts to drop off quick as speeds go up thanks to it being umm.... super aerodynamic.
Mine calmed down the rough shifting at almost exactly 5k miles. Every once in a while Ill get a rough shift into 8th on the highway but that has gotten more rare as well.
