It uses a timing chain, the wet belt is for the oil pump on the 2.7 not the 2.3
You can see the accessory belt on the front of the 2.3, does it look wet?

I don't think it would stick together through the install. Lotta bumping and boinking getting into position.
I've got some other stuff going on in life, tinkering with the truck is kind of a welcome distraction and it's oddly relaxing.

FYI, the default fill spouts that come with those like to get stuck in our fill ports unless you unscrew them and rotate the nozzle one set of screw holes
If you have a newer truck without the rear plug it's worth buying the Bronco rear cover and adding one that way while you do it this time, make your life easier next time
