I am 6'2". They rub on my pants.. and I like the look of the truck more without them. That said; I have more than a few kids + one with special needs means those went on right after I bought it. I just deal with the step rubbing on my leg a bit. Looks a bit better now that someone mentioned...
I was going back and forth on if I should get a local shop to do the work or buy a kit and bolt it on myself. I don't have to deal with as much rust.. but that sort of crazy is not something I want to mess with down the road.. suddenly exhaust leak/break. Might start shopping around. Don't...
Looks great! I think I see a dead blow hammer in the reflection there. Always good to have on hand when you do sketchy repairs that work out in the end. I finally had to retire one of mine and got a new/bigger one a month ago or so.
As far as a feeling of lost power. If I happen to sort of think about lifting at all when it goes to shift, especially up to 4th when overnight cold, it feels like it gets a bit silly with the amount of power lost. Since the last relearn it has gotten less weird with that, but I also connected...
I swear when I see a post about an issue with any car/truck on a forum; I see it again at least two more times. Not knocking this post or Ford, etc. Stuff just seems to happen in 3s. Weird. I responded to another post earlier about a fuel sender not wanting to show full. So not exactly the same...
Looks at the price of the walnut sprayer thing from harbor freight. Looks at the two GDI engines in the driveway. Carries the 2....
I think I am gonna skip the can and just walnut blast the thing at 100k - assuming I keep it that long.
The catch can probably looks neat and also probably...
Holy hell man that sucks. I have heard of that issue and looked after a hand wash, hard rain, and car wash. So far - no water is making it to my coverless engine. It has stayed dry so far and I plan to change the plugs early (the rust and tune combined.. they are not gonna stay per the book)...
I think we are missing a leap in tech that no one is seeing now for that to be possible. Maybe my kids will see it. Maybe my kids will trust tech enough to allow it.
I am just hoping my next new car still has a stick as an option.. but that seems more remote as time goes on. I wanna control...
Nope. Either I am getting ripped off by Shell or my mid point changes all the freaking time. However, when I am full - it shows full.
Might be a stuck lever arm if they have one. Not sure how hard it is to get at on these - warranty for sure.
Holy crap. I thought most of those were designed to break at the base to prevent that sort of thing.
About a year ago some kid ran from the cops a block from my house. Super bumpy road if you are even a bit over the speed limit. His Honda met a small tree at at least 120. Cut one side of the...
Hope she continues to improve back to normal and grats to the new owner. I can understand wanting the smaller truck. I had no need for a full-size truck; especially with their price tags when decently equipped.
The owner's manual has a breakdown from 10k down to 3k on when to do an oil change / when the indicator should say to change the oil; depending on what you do with the truck.
Stock tires size and ride height. No issues reaching the filter, tire on and straight ahead, even with me being a big awkward goofball.
On the warranty after moving the filter. If they think a failure might be due to a drop in oil pressure related to the plumbing of that filter relocation...
Big Mobil 1 fan. Castrol Edge right behind that.
Ranger..... I'm sticking with factory oil and filter.
Why? Not 100% sure but I'm going with that until I see data that says I shouldn't. Changing it sooner because LMS and I'm an asshole but yeah... 5w30 Ford oil and filter at 5k until I trade...
Glass houses and throwing stones.
//break - back to OP.
Nice pick up! If I was gonna get one it would be in the black trim. Turbo without the luxo crap to push it over 40k. The one I looked had at was 36k.
That headlight setup they run now sorta gets me. The DRL in the grill is neat. That...
Your other posts inspired me to look for an older nissan offroader, but it will be from the KA or early gen VQ with a stick. Their manuals are freaking stout.
I also know nothing about the new stuff. No one has asked me to help work on one yet, might be a good sign.
I also keep getting...
The escape is still a straight to DVD movie script when the owner who wasn't from Japan, middle eastern but from where I forget and can't be bothered to google, ran from their justice.
And I still say it went French because after that crap they never built stuff as sturdy as the KA24, RB, SR...
First car was a 280z. Loved it... broke it bad. Next was a 95 Nissan hardbody. Loved it.. had a kid so needed to trade it.
Then Nissan went French and was run by a tyrant. That and they love cvts that i hate... I stopped buying Nissan
Hell of a story how their last owner ninjad out of Japan...
For the first time ever I am just running what the factory put in an engine. I have run edge before without issue. I would assume it has all the specs to keep the warranty intact but I have not checked myself.
