Overshare moment warning. I didn't start until after Iraq. Just got a bit worse as time went on after that. Never got dumb with it.. "high functioning" for sure (?) Retired and thought I could stop on my own. Nerp, failed pretty hard on that.
I want to be around for the grandkids or even...
I ordered one. Got the Ranger instead and they didn't cancel the Mav. Once it showed up they called and asked me to send an email saying why I didn't want it (they knew) so they could get another allocation. They took the Ranger from the 32k sticker to match the Mavs 28k as built.. so I sent...
I have 1.99% on my Ranger now. A bit over a year later (a month or so ago now?) I looked at something else and with an improved credit score, like 30ish points more on all three - and got....... closer to 8% for a 60 month. I didn't shop it hard before I noped out and kept the Ranger and the...
Weird. I live on the Texas coast and never had issues when it gets to stupid hot. I think we have bigger ICs than the mustang? So they are not tiny for the power. Might be wrong on that size thing. Read it somewhere.
That said. No idea what aftermarket does to help and I hope you get your issue...
Holy crap the see manual warning in the wild. I saw that during the tuning when it showed me every warning screen it had... I was curious what would cause that for real.
OP. I hope it didn't damage anything when it was driven low on fluid because of their goof up.
Lemme send you money for putting up with all of this you dipstick. PM your PayPal etc.
I wanna buy this and make it as easy as possible.
Also supporting the R&D.
If I could have kept a warranty beyond 36k miles with the FPT; I would have gone with that. I am a bit skeptical of any lifetime warranty - but that is another topic on its own.
Also; it will have no idea that you added a bunch of stuff since the FPT is based on stock parts (and probably just...
I have 20 jobs open for a company that is employing just under 200 people right now.
If you can turn a wrench on the west side of Houston and need a job I have that.... or are an Engineer (mechanical or eletrical).. or can do sheetrock work/framing... I have one of those as well. If you are...
On a tank when I'm just driving to work on it.. aka not driving like a clown. My average improved 1-2 mpg on the LMS 93 SS tune. Over many tanks at this point to compare. I was also running ASS just before the tune and it got rid of that.
The minute I use that extra ability to get to 60 faster...
I would not trust something that cost 20 dollars to be the right length etc. 200 was a bit much especially when it doesn't come marked. I don't trust Ford even when I had them check the level after driving it for a bit. That stock thing is too big a pita to get at when hot.
I am assuming when the cat isn't a bazillion degrees this will be something pretty damn easy to install eh?
I can do a clutch. I think I can add a dipstick thing.
I don't hate Toyotas. I sort of liked the current/last gen Tacomas... looks wise. Didn't get one for a few other reasons. This... what the hell is this?!
I am super tempted on this and the question applies to the stupid expensive option as well.
Did they cut the tube and stick off to save money or will having a tube or whatever allow fluid to go up it? Creating a problem. I'm probably thinking something like windage causing it that shouldn't be...
I never saw a noticable mpg or really felt a power difference between 87 and 93 before the tune. That includes the time when i ran it empty of low octane and filled it with 93 to get ready for the 91/93 requirement. Maybe mine was just derpy and didn't notice the change.
Trace of fuel in a GDI? I think that is pretty much normal. Not driving on the highway and I'd expect to see more than a trace amount. I have yet to send in a sample but I am seeing no movement with my oil level over a 5k change interval. So if it is adding fuel.. it's burning an equal amount...
If the problem is really gone it will clear after enough driving cycles. If not, need a code reader. Some codes sort of stick. I had a crank relearn CEL that didn't go away until I did said relearn that was thankfully on my tuner box. Even when it was running without any apparent issues.
