Not sure how the 2.3/10spd is handling hauling around the weight of people's balls that take brand new trucks off road like that.....
I'd drive an old POS for that sort of work. My 2wd Ranger is a pavement princess with some extra power from the LMS tune to silently scoot away from rice rockets...
My biggest boost in mpg came from my LMS tune.
The biggest dent in mpg is starting the thing cold. Holy crap it goes thru gas like crazy on a true cold start.. relative to other cars I have owned.
So keeping it in a super warm garage might help.......
200k is the new 100k..
But grats on making it that far with little work.
I am doing maintenance like I'm shooting for 250k but it will probably get traded long before that.
Not a bad idea but so far I have had awesome "customer service" from anyone I have bought from here.
Hell my tow bar showed up the next day (didn't pay for that speed) and was crazy protected. Item was 100% as discribed @Cabose-1
Other items were smaller i got and a few too many to list.
Gonna have to agree; some sort of weird ass wiring issue going on. I have never taken a modern form column apart to throw more WAGing into the mix.
If it wasn't for the bump needed to cause it I would lean toward a control module. My big Kia was just reprogrammed to not switch the blinker for...
That would be my guess based on when it started. A friend hitting the gas and a stethoscope might help track it down or at least get us closer to where the noise is coming from under the hood.
I do HR for an aerospace machine shop/assembly shop/engineer team. I wonder how many would need to be made before they would actually turn the machines on for me....
We have engineer interns starting in a few weeks. Might be something for them to do if they dont have another project. Let them...
I am showing around 50% when I change at 5k, but my drive to work is a decent highway run 5 days a week. I change it early because of the occasional asshattery and the tune. Seems like cheap insurance to keep clean oil in it.
The wife's van... that is a yearly change. It has yet to hit the 5k...
I worked on Hyundais for too long with their recycled metal crap bolts to rely on feel alone. I like my electric torque wrench. The warning beeps as you get close then the screaming when you reach it is nice IMO.
I like that; doesn't seem to cover the parts that matter and match the Ranger trim on the tailgate etc.
I also like like the LX/STX tails better looks wise.. but I like how bright/no worries of a burnout of the XLT+ LEDs
What the crap. I can't give my freaking K&N away (just direct cost of shipping for non-Htown people)
West side of Houston. Free K&N!!! See my post in free stuff.
Thread highjacking complete
Shouldn't be an issue in nonholidays. I sent what was posted here and her response was "you are taking selfies with your damn truck on Easter?!?".
Not my fault the weather pushed this work to today.....
If the wife doesn't kill me ill get a pic of the herd of Wytch's with the Ranger. 7 in the house with one moved out on her own now.
Out of shot is the 8 passenger Kia that takes both if we all go somewhere. I moved it to the road to give me more room for my floor jack etc...
I like people to know for sure I am stopping, turning, and backing up. I have not looked into them at all.
I remember back in my car meeting up each weekend days. That spray on stuff being the rage for anything except the windshield.
You guys with your diff drain plugs... sipping tea with your pinky out and crap... ..... ...
On the trans: I might do the trans pan swap and dip stick (holy shit are they made of gold) at 50k so I can do drain and fills on my own.
Black Ranger here.
Silly way to do a quick touch up after light rain or a sprinkler... or even after a wash and water trickling from the mirrors etc.
Invisible Glass cleaner and a microfiber towel.
