The dealer keep taking them back. The 1st one when I took it back not only oil gas but the rust . So they did a vin swap with the bank aka ford credit . 2nd one they took back and refinance with a credit union lower payment and apr . The 3rd I said screw this and went to toyota same credit...
Driving habits are mostly 55mph hwy use . Not much start and stop as in a rual area . The 1st truck had 3400 miles and oil was way past the full mark past the curl in the stick .truck also had rust under it on the frame and cross members . Southern driven so no salt . Was built in 2/20 maybe it...
I call b/s on this . I have owned 3 2020 and all 3 had high dulion of gas in the oil and no fixes from ford hence 3 trucks . I see a big expensive recall for ford aka class action on the ranger 2.3 .
I left also had 3 2020 and all 3 had gas dilution in the oil . Went to a taco . Not as spunky or as comfy but at least I won't hear the ecoboom go boom later in life
These were the 1st 2 top miles on the blue was 3400miles oil past the curly part of the dipstick. 2nd had 1500 miles past full . The last and black one had 600 and was claiming above full said screw the 2.3 eco
I had 3 2020 rangers all with high gas dilution. I bleed blue but I couldn't do it anymore and went with a out dated toy . Sold the last 2020 for 3k over msrp thank you covid .
Ford already knows about the issue it is a secret ? they don't know what is the cause I am sure there will be a recall or a law Sui over it . I had 3 2020 rangers and they all did it . I sold mine over msrp and bought a toyota. At lease it dosnt throw up gas in the oil .
You would probably need a mustang owner or a focus rs owner to answer that question. Even if it doesn't stop it fully I will be happy if it prolongs it from happiness I will be happy and well worth the cost .
It has nothing to do with gas and the oil .it is to stop the valves from cooking up and causing them not to close correctly. That will cause drivablity issues and a expensive repair
That would not fix the fuel to oil problem. The fuel is past to the crank and mixed with the oil once there there is no way to separate it from the oil . The blowing the pcv to the atmosphere is only going to solve a coking problem. I helped that problem with a catch can . It will still not...
Your calculations would be incorrect . As there is people on here who don't change there own oil and take it to a dealer to change and a dealer would care less to see it it's over flowing with gas . This problem effects every one . It's been a issue with 2019 2020 unknown with 2021 but sure it's...
Gassy oil engine cokeing valves . Don't know how long the 2.3 will live ? On my 2nd 2020 and has the same problems as the 1 st 2020 . So I added a catch can to help slow the cokeing as far as the oil I will send it out on the oil change to decide how soon to change it .would I buy a 2.3 again...
If you notice tho most have same problems. Gas in oil , rust under neath wind noise behind driver side coking of the valves . You have to keep in mind the life span of this truck will be as long as its siblings not for ever .
