Added to my lights package with a Diode Dynamics Stage Series dual
light bars in orange. With my Baja Designs ditch lights I am done with lights on the front. All lights are wired to aux switches (Tremor) so I still have my bright white fogs and now have orange fogs I can enable in bad weather.
Other than alignment is their any other benefit to replacing UCAs? I see a lot of them mention increased travel. Is this not something we might want in an off road situation? Just curious as I am very much an amateur on this stuff.
Looks awesome!
So this bumper replaces the factory bash plate? Presume it gives as much coverage and protection as what it replaces?
Also just eyeballing this looks like you would get some improvements to your approach angle? Yea or nay?
Saw this. Thought she did a more thorough review than most of the other Tremor reviews I have seen.
I did chuckle when she commented on the engine sound not sounding like any other turbo 4 she had heard before. Fords fake engine noise works!
Gotcha. Guessing the aftermarket low profile intrusion bars would work fine. I like the idea of moving up to this size when I eventually wear out the OEM tires.
I did do a fairly aggressive bit of off-roading yesterday on stock Tremor and found it to perform really well. To be honest, slightly...
Took an off-road driving class today in the Catskill Mountains in NY taught by NORA. Learned a lot and had a good time. Mostly Jeeps, one Tacoma, and my Tremor. I think the Ranger kept up though I was glad I had removed the steps from my Tremor as I bet they would have been caught on a rock!
Nope not too bad. There are two screws bottom of the panel. Two in the handle (have to pry the trim) and one under the trim panel under the latch. Then you need to pop the door panel off (needs a little muscle) and disconnect door latch, power window connections and maybe few more wires. Then...
So, have been following this and now have a question / concern with my truck that curious if anyone has an opinion on.
I took all my doors apart today to install Dynamat on the inside of the exterior sheet metal to sound deaden. On the passenger rear door, when I carefully removed the foam...
I just installed Dynamat on all four doors. The change is immediate and very noticeable. This might be one of my favorite and easiest mods for this truck. No more cheap sounding steel drum doors.
Update. They dented both sides and their “dent guy” has no idea how to fix the dent because a drill bit caused it. In good news my bed lights are in and are very nice. In bad news I have to schedule an appointment with their body shop. Sigh.
Can’t you just use your hitch as a recovery point? I also remember reading somewhere that your departure angle improved on the Tremor when you also added tow package.
I took my truck in to dealer to have the dealer installed bed lights from Ford. They have had the truck for two days. Apparently this is either a pain in the rear to install or they don’t know what they are doing. They did call me just now to tell me they finished but that the tech drilled...
