I just had my liner off to install a snorkel. Removing the liner is requires removing the fender flare trim piece, which is difficult to do without breaking clips, and or the flare itself.
1 - Remove marker light, by pushing back the liner and reaching behind it to release the light retention...
I installed the last fender flare, then removed it and re-installed the snorkel. Then I spent so many hours slowly grinding away on the flare to fit around the snorkel, but still needs a piece of body trim to finish it. Then removed it one last time to clean everything up and install the marker...
No, but like I said, there are many other factors (that will play as uch as or more of a factor) not just the specific tire which is what you alluded to.
This statement is not only not factual, but it is side stepping your original point that the tire will determine longevity, not other factors.
Case in point, my grandmothers 1984 Tempo which she bought brand new, still had factory tires on it when she passed in 2009, and it had 67,000 miles on...
The specific tire is only part of the story. What pressure, whether you drive on concrete, asphalt or gravel, vehicle load, weight, and maintenance level, suspension type, driver styles, one driver or multi-driver vehicle, air and road temperatures, night/day temperature differential, road and...
Thanks for the details, no photos needed. I'm still a year or more away from my nest set of tires. I'm definitely going upsizing again, just haven't decided how much yet. I'll be on OME BP-51 suspension by then, but don't want to remove any fender flares (just installed them today) or fender liners.
Started my AD Superbolt install today. Did the rears first, because the snorkel fitting is going to be a fkr. I got to the front left, and realized they won't install with my sliders on, so the sliders had to come off. I only have my 3/8" & 1/4" ratchet sets here in the rental, and I couldn't...
In Canada according to 2 dealers I spoke to, for push button start to get my spare key replaced it was almost $500 for the complete unit and programming, and assuming I had 1 key to give them to use.
They said they need 2 keys to do programming, so if I had neither key I would have to get it...
I was in a little bit of a time crunch so I wanted something already built and available, I couldn't wait 6 months for an ordered truck to come in. Must haves for me were Lariat and either FX4 or Tremor. First choice was black, but I would have been almost as happy in a Magnetic Grey, and I...
Oh ya, I forgot to mention that part. I have the 303 which I bought Aug 2021 (when I first planned to hand wash my truck ;) ). I decided not to do it today, because I knew it wouldn't be fully clean after this session. I was mainly doing the outside today prepping for 3M tape works. The...
A 2nd set of Baja Designs S2 Pro, but white driving pattern as ditch lights, and 4' Firestick CB antenna.
Rigid Radiance Scene flush mount reverse lights and an Amazon cheap-o trailer hitch brake light.
ARB Safari snorkel.
I've had my Ranger 857 days, and today it finally got a full hand wash, lol. I'm off-road pretty often and live rural lake side, so it gets dirt and bugs in every crack and crevice, which takes forever to get it all proper clean. I have a few projects this week which require 3M tape...
Today, I changed oil and filter, rotated tires, installed 20 McGard black lug nuts and 4 Advance Wheel lock black lug nuts, removed 3 of 4 skid plates and power washed the underside of my truck. I'm going to replace all the hardware for the skid plates, so they didn't go back on.
And I ordered...
I use the steering wheel controls and right info screen on my dash for radio/entertainment changes, very easy and convenient. Maybe it's a Lariat thing, or tech package, I'm not sure, but love it. and don't have to look. Left, down 1 for FM, down 2 for Siruis, down 3 for iPhone, OK button and...
I use bluetooth for my phone to play music or Sirius the majority of the time, with FM radio rarely. If it's phone music when I get out of the truck, it goes back to phone music about half the time when I get back in, the other ~half it goes to Sirius, occasionally it goes to FM. I've tried a...
It was a joke, but how about:
What type of train do you operate?
Is that Chemical or Civil engineer?
It's possible it's a little out of adjustment, I don't have to slam mine.
