When they become available, I will buy. I held off until BLISS was included. Iāve seen them some places for international shipping, but without the electrical connections. What I have works well, but is clunky and a hassle to install and adjust all of the time...
I donāt have Forscan or a reliable PC laptop. Iād rather do something at the switch if I can, but do still want to be able to turn it off sometimes. Iām getting ready to tow daily until December, and if I have to cook up a solution, I probably wonāt have time for that until December. So it may...
I find I forget to hit the tow/haul button all of the time. I use this like a truck. I use tow haul more than not. Iād like to turn it off only sometimes. I did buy the auto stop eliminator plug in module. Is there something like this for tow / haul?
I donāt carry the fob. Itās too big for my liking. I have a small chipped key I programmed using the two fobs. Even if I use the lock / unlock buttons on the door, I still have to turn the key to acc to stop the alarm. I wish too that I could simply turn the alarm off.
2021 Escape 19. Mine is 3850 dry, up to 5000 loaded. These are semi custom, so dry weights can vary quite a bit. Pulled it home on a ball. Have an Equalizer WDH to set up soon.
2021 XLT 2WD Supercab. I thought the rear shocks did not control the rear spring very well. I put Bilstein 4600ās on the rear of mine and think it makes a nice difference. Itās not stiffer, but controls the rebound better. I find it rides like a truck, but I bought it to be my lighter duty truck...
āWhat strikes me is how many cars some of you have owned.ā.
I thought that too. I am 59 and the Ranger is my 9th vehicle including the early years junkers and what I inherited through marriage.
Iām probably the odd man out. I try to figure out what will meet my needs for the life of the vehicle. I buy new and drive them until thereās nothing left. I have a ā98 C2500. It was thousands less than a Dodge or Ford at the time and drove and rode more comfortably. Itās been very reliable. I...
After driving some, not a lot, on flat to gentle hills unloaded and not towing with temps between the high 50ās and low 90ās F, my head temp mostly hangs between 16-169F, and my trans temps run about 20F higher.
Solar is not enough. Itās a small trailer so one 200 watt panel on the back is it. Iāll run 6 or 8 gauge minimum. I really donāt want a compressor fridge. I can boondock a long time on propane.
Yes itās the heating element. I donāt want a compressor fridge for various reasons, and I donāt like to drive on propane. So for about 6 hours 3 or 4 days a week, the fridge is on 12v while traveling.
If needed, the Renology can be limited from 20 amps to 10, but that wonāt keep the battery charged. Also, it shouldnāt pull that much unless I let the battery get low to begin with. It also does not run full draw full time, but in hot weather will pull much of that, much of the time. I realize...
