    Mine matches.
  4. Scangague II cylinder head temp

Towed a little today. Water and trans were about 15F apart. Water higher
  5. Suspension upgrade for pulling travel trailer

I put Bilstein 4600’s on the rear because I didn’t like the way the truck rode. I spend moths towing. I do not tow 6000lbs, but do tow at near max payload. Typically I tow 5000lbs or less with 1500-1600lbs in the truck including tongue weight. If I wanted to tow 6000lbs all the time, I...
  6. Scangague II cylinder head temp

Haven’t changed long, but it does seem water is 30F degrees above tranny so far.
  7. Paclock Locking Hitch Pin experience?

I have a Proven Industries since they make my hitch lock. I also have some padlocks that are nice for other applications. My Proven Industries seems solid.
  8. Scangague II cylinder head temp

I don’t know since I have not set water temp on the gauge. I watch the factory gauge. I can set it, and watch it, but won’t drive the truck much until mid March. I can report average differences then.
  9. Georgia Tow Mirrors

I too am possibly interested depending on whether or not they have the electronic bind spot and cost.
  10. Are You and “In” or “Out” Guy…?

50X60 barn and oversized 2 car garage. Corolla goes in garage except when I need the shop space. ā€˜98 C2500 lives mostly outside. Cargo trailer lives outside mostly. Ranger, travel trailer, tractor, and boat live in barn mostly, but sometimes outside. Building observatory dome in the barn, and...
  11. Dealer price to install OEM trailer brake controller?

I got the Ford with the extra module $400 installed in August 2021. Took them about 6 hours to install. It was part of the purchase.
  12. Scoop: New Ranger Raptor Turbo V6 Set For the US at Last

If you sell more dampers you can retire sooner.
  13. Why I may be selling -

I have many years in all kinds of RV’s. A class B or pickup camper I find great for places south or well north of the border. For much of Canada and the US, I prefer a travel trailer or 5th wheel. For all RV’s, I much prefer one piece molded fiberglass. Much less maintenance. Towing my Escape 19...
  14. Ranger compared to Subaru in snow

Have a 1998 2wd Chevy 2500 and had a 2002 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Lived in Alaska 25 years. Both had snow tires and the truck got 800 lbs in the back. Drove both all winter up icy hills. The truck worked just fine as long as you drove well, the Subbie was absolutely great. I still use the...
  15. Scary towing experience

Personally, I don’t have an E2, but do have a WDH. I’d pull out your E2 manual and set the hitch up carefully yourself. I’m not overweight or size based on Ford’s specs, but I use up most of it and tow just fine. I bought this truck specifically for towing my travel trailer. After your WDH is...
  16. Indoor house temperature

    Winter 62. Summer 80
  17. Folding Rear Step?

With the tailgate down I can and do use the DeeZee.
  18. Folding Rear Step?

Tried for many months to get the Bestop. Finally gave up and cancelled. Got the DeeZee. I’ve never bumped it. I thought I might, which is why I tried so hard to bet the Bestop. Glad now I got the DeeZee and pocketed the difference.
  19. Stupid question about tongue weight

My Escape 19 made in Canada is one of the heaviest 19’s Escape has built. Fully loaded with us and toys the trailer is 4628lbs, tongue weight is 560lbs and truck is at around 1575lbs loaded for travel. We take lots of toys. I have a scab XLT 2wd with an 1828lbs payload. We have no problem in...
  20. In Production For 2 Months?

Yep, mine was waiting for parts.
