  1. Free Sync 3 Navigation Map Updates (NA 1 18)

I would guess yes, or they’d send you the correct one. No idea how that whole process is handled though.
  2. Free Sync 3 Navigation Map Updates (NA 1 18)

Yeah, for some reason it's not providing a correct license every time. Worked fine when I tried it for my Escape, but that had never been updated before. I shot a note to some folks at work just to make sure they're aware. Hopefully ALOM or whatever happens to be wrong gets fixed up quick.
  3. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Yep, the lag time is still ~1 year, though they've gotten them out a little quicker these past two. I don't even get them internally to start testing usually until sometime in the fall of the release year once all of the map and voice data are created. The ones for NA anyway. The map data...
  4. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

19Q1 only launched today on that site. That’s what the new maps notification was referencing. It only offered 18Q1 prior. If you have 19Q1 already then you’re up to date as far as map data goes.
  5. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

It was sending out 18Q1 prior. 19Q1 is the latest in production for NA. I don't even have 20Q1 yet, and likely won't for a few months due to the data creation process.
  6. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Correct. The 19Q1 is a year newer than 18Q1.
  7. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

19Q1 is the latest available. That's what was loaded on the map update site today as well.
  8. Question about 8" display

Any time. None of the AppLink nav apps allow a moving map in the home screen. I was hoping it would be added, but my guess is it won't.
  9. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

I'm sure there were changes from 19101 as it's quite old, but I'm not really aware of any of the details for that particular feature domain.
  10. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

As of today, 16-18 are on their own update path based off of v3.0.
  11. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

It's always the best idea to wait for the Ford updaters in case there's some other background activity that should be done in an update, etc. Also, then dealers will have access to it in case something comes up.
  12. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

FYI. The official build / updater that should roll out next month is 20136. That's the one meant for the MY19 vehicles that can go from v3.3 to v3.4.
  13. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Some of the related SSBs in OASIS are showing planned fix release in July last I checked.
  14. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

Hah. I hear you. It's annoying on my end as it's delayed bug fixes and other improvements. :headbang:
  15. Sync hi-jacking

USB only, Bluetooth only, or all? Does it stop charging? I assume you're on v3.3?
  16. Sync hi-jacking

Ahh, OK. Yeah OP issue is quite strange. Plugging in the second device shouldn't take over anything, unless maybe somehow that phone is dropping out.
  17. Sync hi-jacking

When you plug in the phone, the drop down is a notification that a new USB media source was connected. So, it'll show the device name, but it's not connecting it via Bluetooth at that point.
  18. Just updated to Sync 3.4 on my Ranger 2019

I've never quite figured out exactly how/when the system updates what SYNC version is installed. On mine, it's still showing previous installs in OASIS even though I've installed newer releases. It may update only with the specific package on the USB/OAT updates...but, not sure.
