OK, then you should have the latest voice pack so the installer was fine. It's the one specific case where a voice pack update isn't needed. You can double check the version in the IVSU Version diag screen to confirm.
Did you have 3.4.20021 installed prior? If so, then this would make sense. Apparently a few did go out with that release level. For those, the voice pack is already at -xL. Same question for quangdog.
OK, that is what I was looking for. The 14G391-BL is the NA Non-Nav voice pack. For Nav it'll be -CL. If it's not listed and the file is missing, there's something strange going on.
:headbang: Can you PM me your VIN if you're cool with that. I just want to pull a non-nav download to check and all the used 19' Rangers I'm finding are nav equipped.
Arg. I'll pull some sample VINs from the net and grab the updaters to check. Other than the missing voice pack, this looks OK though. Does it list the 14G391 file in the autoinstall.lst?
I wonder if it takes an install to further update that string. When I went from 3.3 -> 3.4 -> 19Q1 in my parents vehicle, it updated properly to reflect 19Q1. Prior (on 3.3) it was showing 17Q1.
Ah ha. There it is. Been waiting a couple days for it to finally go up. Should be available for USB and dealer update now. OTA hasn’t switched on yet.
3.4 wouldn't do anything as it won't touch those particular files. Then again, I've never heard of this case of an install showing complete, but the image not appearing to be there either. You can try rolling back to 18 maps to see if that recovers it.
Good to hear. Not sure how the camera...
OK, that sounds like it should have installed correctly then. Doesn't show in the IVSU Versions and nav voice is still down? Have you gone the master reset route post-installing the CAF? I've not run across a case of the file not showing post install before.
No that’s no problem. Looks like you have everything installed. If the nav voice stuff still isn’t working, run that master reset. That *should* clear it up.
Check your packages to make sure it actually did finish and not only the first part like some of the others have run into. No, you can’t share the drive. It’s linked to your APIM.
Hold down the seek forward buttons on the wheel and the IP for 10 seconds. Make sure the radio is on prior. You’ll end the speaker walk around and you’ll be in the diag menu. Select the APIM item then the IVSU Versions.
Was that the FIRST time that complete pop up displayed after the initial restart (after you accept the install will disable nav voice)? If so, you pulled the stick early and need to let the last step run. That'll recover the nav voice. Per other posts, it's going to show the wrong version on...
You probably pulled the stick before the final step completed. You can re-run the install, or edit the autoinstall.lst to run the last section to get that nav voice data installed.
