That's odd. It should've deleted that file before it even ran the map update. In any case, since there is already data there you'll need to replace that file alone. What you can do is edit the autoinstall.lst so that it installs only the 14G422-CAF pack. That's the U.S. English pack. If you want...
Hopefully. The MY20 specific SSMs still show "July", though the MY19 SSM is showing "early August". It's the same software, so maybe they plan to roll it out to 20's a tad faster. Probably some added testing for 3.3 -> 3.4 upgrades before switching it on.
Did you dump the new license file in /SyncMyRide folder? How soon is it throwing that error? Can't think of anything off hand that should throw a signing error.
Yep, so it has that bug. When you update to 3.4, hopefully soon, it'll clear up and show the right version number.
Highly likely it did. v3.3 has a bug where the nav data version string isn't updating. You can check what's actually installed in the diagnostics menu real quick just to confirm.
Did it restart even once? Have you tried a different thumb drive?
Understood. That's an odd error for a map update which is why I asked for the other info.
Looks OK. Not familiar with the error message. Do you have another drive you can try it out with?
In that case, nothing is different. It's the same files as you had prior. 19Q1 was not available as a public upgrade until the 29th of June. It likely deleted the gracenote and voice data, then just re-installed them.
Several now, yep.
Yep, after you acknowledge the first message about things not working (because it deletes the nav voice data to make room for the map), it'll sit there like that. Then eventually it'll restart to finish the other pieces of the puzzle. On the whole it takes around an hour. You...
So, turn on the radio. Then, press and hold down both of the seek forward buttons, one on the panel one on the steering wheel. Hold for ~10 seconds. This will kick off the speaker walkaround test. End it. Then upper left, there will be a button for APIM, select it. Then lower right there's an...
That's an ESN mismatch code. Can you provide a screenshot of the SyncMyRide folder, and the info from your IVSU Versions screen in the bezel diagnostics to see what is installed?
If you had the incorrect license issue, try going back to the site and re-downloading the update. It seems like it may be fixed now for the downloads. A couple folks have mentioned it's now serving up the correct license.
