Previous replies have hit on all the important issues. I would reiterate that I did not get a Lariat mostly because of the leather seats, figured I would live without LED headlights and the B&O sound system. Wasn’t worth the extra money to me, better spent elsewhere. No regerts!
As to the cab...
I have confirmed that 110 limit twice now, and that’s fast enough for me in a little pick-up truck. It gets going pretty quick but still handles like a truck. I’m about to hit that old “double nickel” myself, I have no business going that fast anymore.
Too bad you to settle for the red! I like how it looks in the desert.
What dealer did you go through? Your experience sounds very similar to mine with Summit Ford in Silverthorn a few months ago. I was able to wait for the cactus grey one to come in, but the dealer inventory showed “In...
I don't believe there is much difference from station to station, as long as they are busy enough to go through the supply frequently. There is a little shopping center near my home that happens to have one of the lowest prices in the Denver Metro area. I'm there at least once a week (grocery...
The tote full of recovery and other emergency gear, shovel, axe, and “picnic” stuff, keep the backend of mine at an acceptable level. Maybe store a little junk in the trunk and call it good? :sunglasses:
Welcome! Good lookin truck, similar to mine. I took off most of the stickers and badging on it and like the clean look. There is another member here and he just removed the red stripes, with just the black left it looked pretty cool. Especially on the hood.
What “axel issues” are you referring to?
You said you drove one with the Tremor package, most of the ride and suspension complaints are not an issue with that set-up.
I sold my 2012 Frontier when I bought this Ranger. I loved that Nissan and we had some glorious times, but this Ranger (w/Tremor package) is superior in every way except interior storage. I understand the new Frontier is quite a bit different, but it wasn’t really in the running for me. I have...
I can't really see an appreciable difference between the two. I wouldn't have any use for the bar on the back. Whatever it's called, I bought the one that was available where I live. Not going to sit around and wish for something rolling around across the ocean.
Doesn't really sound like you need much help deciding. The Ranger fits your needs and your budget. Not to mention it's a much better truck overall than the Tacoma or Colorado.
