What “axel issues” are you referring to? You said you drove one with the Tremor package, most of the ride and suspension complaints are not an issue with that set-up.

I can't really see an appreciable difference between the two. I wouldn't have any use for the bar on the back. Whatever it's called, I bought the one that was available where I live. Not going to sit around and wish for something rolling around across the ocean.

Doesn't really sound like you need much help deciding. The Ranger fits your needs and your budget. Not to mention it's a much better truck overall than the Tacoma or Colorado.
