  1. CACTUS GREY Ranger Club Thread

Seems like a lot of new Cactus Gray ones showing up! It’s only been a few months for me but I’m starting to feel like a trend setter. With all due respect to Dinglehead! A couple more recent pics of mine…
  2. Access keypad - I don’t get it!?!

I have no problem with the dealer charging a minimum hours labor working with parts the customer brought in. Thereare more costs involved then just the tech’s 15 mins of time. I was inspired by a few on here and relocated the pad to inside the gas cap door. We use it frequently.
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Looks okay to me, I guess.
  4. Nitto Ridge Grapplers to loud and rough. Any suggestion?

I am one of those that like the KO2's! As soon as these stock Grabbers show some wear I'll be putting those on the new Ranger.
  5. GM Canyon and Colorado poll

I have found that Glock owners are about as loyal as Toyota fans. Popular, reliable firearms. Just not my preference.
  6. GM Canyon and Colorado poll

No doubt that all Taco owners are Glock owners! Nothing but a bunch of lemmings that can't think for themselves.
  7. GM Canyon and Colorado poll

A quick update to confirm, that my auto mechanic brother-in-law would not by the Colorado again if he was looking. And it's official, he is more than a little jealous of my Ranger. Would not be surprised to see him looking for one in the near future.
  8. Weatherstripping (first minor issue)

I have similar holes in the seal on the rear, driver’s side door.
  9. Ride Quality Complaints

Like others have said, I have no complaints about the ride quality in my Ranger with the Tremor package. And of more significance, neither does the Princess. If you like the truck otherwise, and are facing a loss all ready, might be worth swapping out the shocks and maybe the springs. See what...
  10. GM Canyon and Colorado poll

My brother-in-law, who owns his own auto shop, bought the Colorado a couple years ago and he is really luke-warm on it overall. I don’t think he would buy it again. Keeps asking me about the Ranger though. On this poll, I am a solid ā€˜Yes’ on the Ranger on its own merits. I voted ā€˜Oh Hell Yes’...
  11. Woohoo! "the Ranger Tremor section is now made!"

You can get in even without the tires and the sticker. We don't discriminate! All truck owners welcome! But you guys do sound a little jealous and butt-hurt.
  12. TC(Trail Control) ad-on

I have utilized TC a few times so far, mostly to test out it's function. My previous Frontier had a version of it and I would use it on occasion as well. It's nice when descending steep, rocky trails. This Ford version is more adaptable than the Nissan's and I look forward to testing it on more...
  13. Poor Factory Quality Control

I have a similar issue with my door as well. Everything seems to be sealed and latched properly, just a little out of alignment.
  14. TPMS PSI isn't accurate

Mine reads 2-3 PSI higher then what I read with a guage. I just monitor the TPMS for changes, it’s relative. Same with MPG readings.
  15. Service Manual

    Yes, please. TIA
  16. Topper Shell

I ordered a Leer XR on August 9th and was told 6-8 weeks for delivery. It arrived a little before 5 weeks and was installed on September 24th.
  17. I didn't like the silver valance and the fact Ford deleted the front tow hooks.

I guess we don’t get that stuck out here. Factory tow hooks have proven to be more then sufficient in many a proper recovery.
  18. 1st sighting in the wild . . .

The only other Tremor I’ve seen in person was a Cactus Gray Lariat that was parked a few blocks from my house, along one of the main arteries into my neighborhood. That truck never seemed to move and I had to drive by it at least two times a day while I was waiting for mine. It was torturous...
  19. Level by lowering rear?
