  1. OME Coils on 5100s?

Yes the 5100 is intended to be used with OEM springs. It is possible that some aftermarket springs that have the same upper and lower spring seats could work, but you would want to leave the circle at the lowest point in the strut.
  2. No low balls allowed!!

    Ran when parked!
  3. No low balls allowed!!

Not mine, but no low balls allowed!! 🤣 https://www.facebook.com/share/18JV4WpZ1K/
  4. OME Coils on 5100s?

First off I can't tell you if they're going to fit. Second when I just go back with what you're already had? You managed to get $125,000 miles out of them. That must be a good sign
  5. RoadActive Suspension vs Torklift Stableload

Had to look up the second option there since I never heard of it. After taking a look I would recommend ditching the airbags and adding the road active suspension.
  6. Old Man EMU BP-51 Info

Well after a few years I finally put my order in for Old Man EMU BP-51 Suspension for my vehicle! As much as I want to say it's for the Ranger, well many here will know why it isn't. That said I'm still happy to have it on the way! While I was looking around for more information on the BP-51...
  7. Looking for advice on which tune to go with for smooth power delivery

It's more of Fords special processes more than anything. I suspect it's similar to Livernoise, but also keep in mind that the Ford Performance Tune takes the Factory 5 Year 60,000 Miles Powertrain Warranty and Downgrades it to a 3 Year 36,000 Mile Warranty. Oh and that is based of the original...
  8. Looking for advice on which tune to go with for smooth power delivery

The Ford performance tune is a bit picky due to the fact on how Ford wants you to do things. Livernoise on the other hand there's a bit simpler. Once you get the tuner box you plug into the truck and let it download information. It does take about 10 to 15 minutes. After that you send the...
  9. Off-Road Events: Worth It or Just Hype?

I haven't been to any events of the sorts, but I suspect they can go good or bad depending on what you may be expecting and what actually happens. At the same time it can be with the individuals you deal with. Now I have done a few different small group runs on a few trails. One was with my...
  10. Looking for advice on which tune to go with for smooth power delivery

I went with Livernoise myself. I ran the Performance Tune and the Tow Tune on the truck I had. Personally I liked the Tow Tune better. Why? Because the Tune focused more on Efficiency over Max Power. Yes the power went up, but not crazy. Also I was still able to run a range from 87 to 93 octane...
  11. Transmission to be pulled for the 3rd time.

So let me get this straight. You own a Ford ranger, decided to go to a Honda dealer and look at a Toyota and then get mad at the dealer not wanting to bother with you? Please make this make sense
  12. Alternator Charger for Solar Generator

Because of the Variable Voltage System. On the Negative Cable you have a lovely Amp Meter that monitors the AMPS going in and out of the Battery. If you bypass that with any electrical accessory by connecting the ground directly to the Negative Terminal then you will have problems with the...
  13. Alternator Charger for Solar Generator

I forgot to mention that you will want the Negative Cable of the Charger to go to the Body or Chassis of the vehicle and not directly to the Negative Terminal of the Battery.
  14. Alternator Charger for Solar Generator

Thanks to the Variable Voltage on the truck you will need to make sure the Charger has a way to charge the Battery/Fake Generator while the vehicle is in Low Voltage Mode. Unlike older vehicles that constantly run around 14.4-14.7 volts, the Ranger can be anywhere between 13-14.4 volts as it...
  15. 285 question

As an alternative you can fit 265/70-17's with no modification what so ever.
  16. 285 question

You will have input from many people here, but here's my $0.05 of input(sorry but pennies are no longer in production). Skip the wheel spacers and go with the 285/70-17's. Doing such the tire should fit. If there is any rubbing it will be at full lock. Don't cut the crash bars. They are there to...
  17. Long Range America Fuel Tank

Keep in mind that it is must likely different than the US 6G Ranger by enough on the chassis. I know you want to think differently on this, but I got to see it with the 5G
  18. Long Range America Fuel Tank

Probably not. I say this because of the slight chassis difference of the PX3 Ranger to the 5th Gen in the States. I got to see how close and hey how different the Chassis was 5 years ago with LRA. Why is it different? Because this is Ford Motor Company Where We Have Better Ideas Than You and We...
