Keep in mind that these are not the typical cheap cans you get from Walmart or harbor freight. These are NATO Spec cans made in Latvia. These have been known to do very well vs the cheap knockoffs.
For those that like to travel into the wilderness and go camping from time to time, it is already known that one of the things we should probably have with us is a tank full of water. This would usually be freshwater of sorts that could be used for drinking or any other type of thing you would...
Well a solution has been made(for now at least). While at Lowes today I found some Velcro straps for extension cords to hand in the garage. I found them to do just fine for this. Simple and effective!
That is because Turbochargers are on the Exhaust. Superchargers do not touch the Exhaust at all. Both are completely different in many ways and have their own characteristics. That said the right muffle will still help a 4 Cylinder sound good and I'm not just talking about cruising.
Though it is a 4 cylinder turbo, I understand wanting an aftermarket exhaust on it for flow alone. If anything I would find a Dynomax Turbo Muffler to put in place of the OEM Muffler. You should have better flow over stock and hopefully not have a horrible sound. I know it is much harder to make...
Not happening. I like to fill my tanks to the brim. I just filled them a couple of minutes ago which is pretty convenient lol. Having them lay on their side like this makes it where I can't use a siphon without spilling right away.
Edit: I also forgot about the fire suppressor in the neck of...
Not a surprise for aluminized exhaust. A lot of that is condensation from inside the exhaust and it happens more often then not. Thankfully vehicle manufacturers have been better than that for a while now and many aftermarket companies only offer stainless steel for that reason. Those that still...
As much as I thought about that, I was also wondering about the lovely fuel smell when you do end up using the cans. I know for me it'll get used often enough where that fuel smells going to get real old real fast
So recently I got my hands on a pair of Wavian Fuel Cans(decided to convert from RotoPax). Well after getting them mounted to my roof rack I noticed that the holder for the spout is a bit weak and can easily allow the spout to come off from bumps and stuff. What I'm curious about is what...
Yes you should reset the BMS. With a new battery you need to do it. If you have the tools where you simply click buttons in order to do the reset, then that would be best. There are other methods that are available with instructions in the owner's manual if you don't have tools to make the reset.
You can ask them if you want but there's really no need. The book tells you everything you need to know and one of the other members already posted it for you
I'm going to guess you didn't read the previous post? It already stated not to connect the ground directly to the negative battery post for any added electrical accessory. Not hard to understand
Correcting that ground should help yes. At the same time didn't you just state that you replaced the battery? You're still getting a fault message which means you most likely still have an issue somewhere else. Since I'm physically not with the truck it's kind of hard for me to troubleshoot this...
The Firestone have been doing plenty good in the Snow. I had them on my Ranger, a Service Van, my old Pathfinder and now my Frontier. To say the least I have been happy.
Keep in mind that I'm not talking about liking trails to get that distance. I'm talking trails that have that distance by themselves without gas in-between somewhere. A great example is the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It is a doable trail, but it is over 500 Miles with no Gas Stops...
