Thanks! I didn't want a connector or anything dangling from the 3rd brake light where I've got the cab mounted camera.
I certainly could have. I though about going through one of the rubber-plugged holes, but right or wrong, I wanted only a short run exposed between the cab and bed. That's...
For my cargo "bubble" over the bed, I ran the cable tucked into the headliner on the driver's side, down under the windshield piller trim, then behind the rubber door frame seal to the floor, under the sill all the way back to the under the rear cab liner. I drilled a hole through the cab wall...
The stock mirror locks into place by rotating it while pushing up onto the upper hexagonal mount, starting at about 45° from either side of the mount.
You can get all the parts needed to replace the stocker through eBay, Amazon, Temu or Alixpress, but you'll have to cherry pick pick from the...
I bought this from an ebay seller for $113. I've seen these on ebay & Amazon for as much as $450! Most of what's available on ebay are all the same. The Ford branded version @$250 (bottom pic) is a bit longer front to back and extends over the roof sheetmetal channels.
I'll run a bead of the...
I reinstalled my cab spoiler: the silicone adhesive that came with it hadn't cured after 3 days so I pulled it off, re-lined it with 3M VHB double-sided tape and used some Loctite 495315 adhesive/sealant.
Instead of weights or tape, I cinched it down with a ratchet strap. Nice & tight all around.
Drank a lot of cloudy 'olive' beer there, going to and coming from Corizzo Plain and the Army base at Fort Hunter Liggett. The trails in the mountains West of the base are something to behold!
I added a 2-camera Wolfgbox rear view mirror dash-cam a couple of months ago, primarily because the roof-top carrier I have over the bed blocks the rear window. I mounted the rear camera on top of the cargo box in a cheap Amazon antenna shark fin and I'm really pleased with the clarity and...

Absolutely. I think we all know that. They will also claim overhead: design & development costs; production, shipping & wearhousing; lost revenue for dealers, etc.
Seeing that you're in FLA, you have both rain & high temp with humidity. It could easily be a door/windshield leak when it rains, poor/failing condensate drain insulation, a plugged drain, a combination of all or even something else that hasn't been considered.
I was in commercial A/C service...
It's got nothing to do with the actual cost of production, I'm sure that's nearly the same for all the players. It's the sell price that's important to Ford. The cheapest OEM Ranger grill (dealer sell price) is $250 up to $380. F150, 250, 350 grills range from more than $300 up to $1000. Selling...
I guess knock-off isn't the right term, 'counterfeit' is the word of the day.
Looks like Ford has taken action:
"Seized in the raids were thousands of counterfeit products that would be worth millions of dollars if they were genuine, Ford said in its complaint, filed on Aug. 8 in the U.S...
My 2¢:
I have no real-world experience regarding automobile CAIs, but I used to race & tune motorcycles, i.e. velocity stacks, multi-carb balancing, fuel temperature, etc. And I worked for 30yrs testing and evaluating air & water flow system dynamics and their temperature/pressure relationships...
The intermittent power issue went away, I probably just didn't have the connector tight. My cobbled-together bracket fit perfectly, the distance from my eyes to the screen was just what I wanted, but the inside anti-collision cover trim still blocks part of the forward camera view. And I realize...
