They work with or without with the blind spot system. They also are direct plug in for factory LED tail lights and come with an adapter cable for factory halogen tail lights.

Tailgate dampers here are a right of passage here on Ranger5G. That should have been the final reveal. :) I saw your hook covers over at the other place. I like that. XLT, so mine came black but I put quite an effort into blacking out everything I could.
I live in AZ and when I park for any time in the sun, I can leave the windows down a bit to vent the heat and not worry about a pop up thunderstorm soaking my interior. They do help filter the sun a bit. Oh, and they look good too.
Those lost to a coin toss when I got my EGR's. Couldn't decide so I flipped a coin. :) I had a really bad experience with WeatherTech a couple of years ago, so they were out.
I got in channel EGR's from Amazon. I ended up with smoked after initially getting the solid black. The solid black made for an enormous blind spot at the A pillar. At least I could see through the smoked. No issues.
If you don't want to mess with wiring and just use the OBDII, this was what I ended up with after a few other failed solutions. I wanted something discreet and this has worked great. I usually leave it on boost and trans temp but there are dozens of options...
