Thanks guys... I'm not sure, his insurance is liable but if they begin dragging their feet I'll have my insurance take over and be in contact with my lawyer. If it isn't totaled I'll be removing all the mods and getting a Tremor or getting a 4dr Bronco Wildtrak with the 2.7L
The whole situation really sucks, I had this truck exactly as I wanted it... There's a ton of mods especially audio gear, and its fully sound treated... There's probably 200 hours into that trucks mods...
I'm sore and have a nasty cut and burn on my left arm from the airbags, my dad is hurting but he had back surgery a year ago but x-ray appears everything is okay. Truck definitely took the hit well... The truck shut down upon the airbags deploying and I had to man handle it... This truck was...
Well yesterday wasn’t a good day, got t-boned by a driver that wasn’t paying attention, he ran off the road reentered and struck me, here’s the Ranger after a very wild ride… He went under the rear tire at 75mph, the Ranger rear ran over the hood and began fish tailing so violently it actually...
Kind of crazy I'm just now seeing this, I asked them back around September-ish 2021 about a steel delta joint and they told me they had no plans in the pipeline...
Kinda pissed I didn't get in on the group buy when I must have asked them half a dozen times on social media before finally...
Actually its taller than 90% of 33" labeled tires (i.e. 33x11.50) most of those come in at 32.4-32.7. These are 32.8" tall. Why would they put 35" on it? The F-150 only wear a 34.4" tire. They simply don't need that much tire for the weight or application. It would hinder performance.
The spring packs are a far amount thicker and they don’t ride much higher than FX4 springs. I would think you’d be hitting the bump stops constantly with these. My factory bump stops were constantly contacting the FX4 springs even without a load or off-roading. There is a reason the Tremor bump...
I’m not sure why it won’t let me link it, anyway here’s a screenshot of it. You will have to trim the tab on the back that located in the raptor frame to keep it from “spinning” I used the factory bolt.
These are not stiffer, they’re softer and more progressive without losing capacity. They also have more wheel travel… I’m not sure why you’d want stiffer springs than oem on a midsize pickup. The oem rode nearly identical to a 3500 SRW diesel… stiff and jarring.
I installed mine Friday evening, they're are tremendously better. Similar to my brother's stock tremor, I have custom tuned 2.5" Fox DSC coilovers and rear piggy backs. I ordered metric U-bolts originally for a Toyota and they worked like a dream and kept use of flange nuts and being metric...
Tons of 160+mph pulls in my 900whp Mitsubishi Evo 8, 190+mph on a modded Kawasaki ZX14, 138mph in my turbocharged 750whp GMC Sierra (on 35" Duratracs!), 148mph in my Dodge Durango SRT. Everyone other vehicle I've had has been on its speed limiter.
