Well shit, just verified build date july20th….. hope more people report this so it becomes a recall or something, because id be pretty pissed if this happens past my warranty.
If this truck last me 8 years, 100% buying another ford truck, as longas that gen doesnt suck Ass….. because i am having a blast with it, feel like a teen again heh
I mean for now i love the ranger…. But i do have concerns on long term reliability. I plan on keeping it for at least 6-7 years min. If i dont end up having to pay any big time repairs I’ll consider it a success. If i do end up having to pay big bucks 2k++ for any repair that wasnt caused by me...
Is this documented? I think mine was built july 7th 2020. So should i be able to go in now and get it replaced before it does go out…..
built ford tough haha
Antectdotal and not scientifically tested.. but i used 76 for a couple full tanks and avg 1 gallon per mile less than when i used chevron, both premium - 92 octane. I've always used chevron but wanted to test 76 because its the gas station literally next to my neighborhood. Guess ill just stick...
Snowed pretty bad in WA yesterday, ended up having to drive a family member to and from work. I was going about 60 in 2wd and fish tailed on the freeway lol. Had to switch to 4hi and had no issues after.
There is someone who lives in my neighborhood w/ a Rivian, saw them yesterday coming home. Pulled up to the side to ask him how the truck was and tell him it looked good etc etc etc. He works at Rivian so has apparently had it for a couple months already, but he said something that made me roll...
Im sure its most people just not wanting a full size. Honestly, i dont get how so many have full sized trucks who live in the city or even suburbs. They’re just so damn big and inefficient for a daily driver. My buddy has a 2015 tundra and he said after year 1 he regretted the purchase.
I guess if the biggest appeal was speed, i think EVs will surpass NA gas engines within a decade as far as performance. But if you loved it for the sound….. ughh get used to fake noises haha.
I was gonna cut both front and back, but only ended up cutting the back bars because ive had wrist surgery and the sawzaw was just a bit too much. So i did remove the front bumper to make life easier to replace the fronts.
i also tried removing them by just loosening the front bumpers but it...
Finally got these tremor fenders on, they’re very subtle which i like. Depending on wheel offset id have stuck with rtr fenders. I have +20 offset wheels on 275/70r17. I think anything in range +15 to 0 would be better off with rtr fenders for a more agressive look. Bottom pic is before the install.
The lines on that look cool…. Not a fan of the color, but holy crap if thats what comes out id probably buy it. Very similar to current tacoma. Not a fan of the rivian and dont want a full size.
