  1. Ford Performance Tune - just installed, very pleased!

I drove 100 miles yesterday....from sea level to 3600 ft - back and forth. The tune is everything I had hoped for with this kit. I still feel the Ranger should have it this way coming from the factory, but I can absolutely assure you, the tune dramatically improves shift and revs so that now...
  2. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

So I've purchased the sensor, but haven't installed it yet as it's arriving this week, but in the meantime, I have the Ford Performance Tune installed now and it looks like I may not need to swap sensors as it's working great with the new tune. It's how the Ranger should have been delivered from...
  3. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

I went with the Mevotech black arms to be more consistent with OEM colors and look.
  4. What did you receive in the mail today for your Ranger?

What is it and what does it do?
  5. Ford Performance Tune - just installed, very pleased!

Just got my Ford Performance tune installed this morning. Consistent with most everyone's experience, it now runs nice and smooth with far better shift points. Not sure I've felt any massive torque increase yet, but I wasn't jumping on it much either. But for sure the smoothness and better...
  6. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

IMO, it's an intermittent thing. Over 2 years, I believe it's sorta comes and gone. I plan on replacing the sensor that's highlighted here, but in the meantime, my Ford Performance tune arrived after a long CARB wait. Drove it home this morning and it runs nice and smooth now. Shifting is so...
  7. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Got it, but I believe you are suggesting that I will need to acquire new clamps as a result, or can they be re-used?
  8. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

Thanks....I order just the sensor, but did notice the instructions show the removal and replacement of the full OEM sensor with hoses. For the clamps that hold the hoses on the sensor (closest to sensor) they look like different clamps than the others. Are they any different to get off with...
  9. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

are there instructions/images of where this sensor is located and how to dismount and install a new one?
  10. Bucking/Surging Epidemic

How timely. This is exactly what has been happening to me! So where do I get this sensor? And 2 hoses need to be replaced as well to remedy this? And lastly, anyone can do this?
  11. I finally got an engine cover

It''s a water-cooled engine, not air cooled where cooling fins come into play. Heat is dispated via the radiator and fluid circulating.
  12. I finally got an engine cover

Ever open the hood on a hot day? It's warm in that compartment no matter what.
  13. Broke a sway bar link -- upgrades? -- 2019 FX4 with FP Fox 2.0 Level Kit

Those are the Mevotech's sway bars. They sure are ugly.

  15. I finally got an engine cover

Question about the stud and nut you call out. Are those optional parts I need to buy for this engine cover? I don't see these parts in a search on their site? Stud.... W714647-S450B Nut.... W520201-S450B Thanks
  16. I finally got an engine cover

Thanks.....Just bought my Ford Performance Tune from Levittown last week! Dave Seegobin is a good guy.
  17. Broke a sway bar link -- upgrades? -- 2019 FX4 with FP Fox 2.0 Level Kit

Are there any American brands for Ranger Sway Bar link upgrades? I saw that Mevotech is out of Canada.
  18. Broke a sway bar link -- upgrades? -- 2019 FX4 with FP Fox 2.0 Level Kit

Do these often break on the Ranger? I'm not sure I've seen many threads about this.
