  1. Wilwood Disc Brake Install

My pedal is consistent and firm since installing the Wilwood. Overall performance is really good.
  2. For the "Tuned" Ranger crowd - What's your Avg. MPG ?

Man, I’m happy with 15. But I’m way far from stock.
  3. What did you do to your Ranger today?

They're probably the same person who is responsible for the emergency broadcast notifications that keep 'accidentally' getting sent.
  4. Petite Blonde Lady Behind Wheel of Lifted Silverado Drives Over Lamborghini

yeah... that's the reason. šŸ˜‚ Last year, my Father in Law was run over in his Ferrari. FIL was stopped at a stop sign and a dude (I think he was 187 years old) cut the left too tight and drove right over him. Similar to this. Since then, he's had shoulder surgery, knee surgery, cognitive...
  5. Ford’s Recall Problem Is Getting Too Big to Ignore

I've always said that, if there is an expectation of two week notice, I should be paid for two weeks whether they allow me to work or not. I don't care if you don't want me there but pay me for the notice. Give me the courtesy I gave you. I am counting on that pay. That's also why I don't...
  6. Ford’s Recall Problem Is Getting Too Big to Ignore

There is no legal requirement for quitting on the spot. It's just a "socially acceptable standard". It "looks bad" to future employers. What also gets me is "here is my two weeks notice" followed by "you need to leave now".
  7. Ford’s Recall Problem Is Getting Too Big to Ignore

I've always be baffled by giving two weeks notice. Employers fire employees on the spot, why can't employees fire employers on the spot?
  8. Anyone who has a Tom Woods Driveshaft Installed

Nope, you're not missing anything. Apparently, I don't remember how I installed the driveshaft... I swear I didn't lift the truck but now that you said that, maybe I'm forgetting the steps... like how women forget how painful child birth is.
  9. Max tire size without modifications?

If you move the crash bars to their most forward angle, you can usually get away with 285/65r18 (285/70r17). I ran the 28570r17 on my stock Ranger and *barely* kissed the crash bar in reverse, but I hadn't moved the crash bars forward yet. All tire manufactures vary in their physical sizes vs...
  10. Anyone who has a Tom Woods Driveshaft Installed

Edit: You have to lift the rear to rotate the driveshaft. Reason for edit: I had a moment... @TJC called me back to reality.
  11. Anyone who has a Tom Woods Driveshaft Installed

No video but it’s very easy. 4 bolts on the front and 4 on the rear. It’s easiest if you have someone who can put it in neutral so you can rotate the driveshaft to access all the bolts.
  12. Anyone Else

I haven't seen an adapter but... I'm sure someone could machine the adapter.
  13. Anyone Else

drive shaft side is for the Tremor, diff is a non-tremor.
  14. Suspension Questions w/ added weight - Bilstein 6112 & 5160 vs Icon

Skip the Icon leaf springs and go with the Dobinson leaf pack. I've run the Icon and they don't stand up to weight. I currently have the OME 2.2" medium duty leaf springs and they're... ok. I know that @AndyMedic switched from the OME to the Dobinsons and i s much happier. The Dobinson are...
  15. XL To XLT gauge cluster swap

I'm hijacking a little bit but, did the mileage on the cluster adjust to what the truck has? I don't want to add 'ghost miles' to my truck but I do like the Lariat cluster.
  16. What do you NEED TO DO to your Ranger?

I still have to replace mine. I bought one so long ago I lost it, bought a second one, found the original and now they're both sitting in my toolbox.
  17. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Installed my catch can tonight. That might have been the most… annoying … modification. Took about 45 minutes but could be done in 10 if I didn’t have fat ass hands and wrists, apparently.
  18. Vanity plates gone too far

I no longer feel bad about my previous posts.
