I regularly use Pennzoil Platinum 5w30. For this trip I jumped up to Ultra Platinum as I knew I was going to be running an extended interval. Did the Ultra benefit me at all? I don’t know, but figured it didn’t hurt to run Pennzoil’s “best”.

Here’s just one from my month trip to the PNW. Took this in the Sunrise parking lot of Mount Rainier NP. After this I did the hike out to the Mount Freemont Lookout Tower.

Since I removed the entire trim and cut off a majority of it, I touched up that piece with some spray paint. Nothing else I could really do.

I have/had the same issue that you’re seeing. Noticed it a few years ago. Removed nearly the entire trim when install the Prinsu rack. I don’t understand why it happened either.

Installed the RubiGrid dash mount made by Bulletpoint. On the passenger side is the tablet holder and the driver I’ll be mounting my wireless backup camera monitor when towing my small trailer.

Picked up two of the “scratch-off” brand DPFE sensors from rock auto. Forgot the clips up top on the sensor are not the squeeze type like the lower end of the hose. Mine is currently not giving me an issue, so I’ll swap it out when I get back from the PNW.

If you want to make it last, just keep up with the maintenance. I run a motorcraft oil filter/Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 and change the oil around 5k-6k miles. I replaced the transmission filter with the PPE deep pan. Is there a need for the deep pan versus the standard pan? Couldn’t tell you...

Installed the ARB OME Leaf Springs. Pain in the ass as they do not provide instructions, and the short 4-5 minute video they have on YouTube doesn’t go into much detail. Truck rear sits higher now as expected. Took it for a drive around the block and noticed I now have a shudder on take off...

OME Springs arrived this afternoon.

Hardware and Shackles arrived today from @Stage3Motorsports OME Rear Springs should arrive later this week. Should be my final mod prior to my trip to Oregon/Washington in August.

Update on the solar panel, it’s still mounted, and did not become a kite. In the last 70+ days it has generated 3.8KWH per the app for the charge controller. In one of the photos you can even see where I was even in the triple digits in the end of March/beginning of April. So far I am pleased...
