Added the Ranger decals to the glove box. So subtle color wise, you can barely tell they’re there. But being flat black, the letters are now visible.
Fortunately, all my cap has is a center brake light. I just tapped the brake and ground wires. This is a Lariat with all the sensor stuff, so I was really hesitant to get into the harness, but it went well.
For those of you with ringing in your ears (tinnitus), you may want to try this stuff. I doesn’t help everyone, but it does help some. It reduced mine by about 60 percent. It took several weeks to show any effect, taking 4 tables a day. Now, I only need 2 a day.

Ecoflow products are amazing. while they can be charged with solar panels, that takes forever. If you also get their alternator charger, your truck will charge them in just over an hour. The charger is that little black box on the front of the platform. It has two heavy cables that run under...
Exactly. Why can’t the government just let the market decide what we want to buy. Think of how inexpensive a base truck would be without ABS, back-up cameras., airbags, Auto stop-start, turbo 4s, 10-speed transmissions and all the other stuff we’re forced to buy. Most are great safety and...
@Big Blue, yeah, I didn’t take the camera angles into account.
I did find out the reason for the ever increasing truck size: it’s the CAFE mileage standards. The larger the truck’s footprint, the fewer MPG it’s required to achieve. So that 88 Ranger would need to get over 45 MPG today. When...
Size difference between my 1988 standard cab 7’ bed and the 2021 Super Cab 6’ bed.
The new truck could eat the old one. Maybe I should have kept the 88 as a dinghy
Current setup, Super Pacific X1 pop up tent. Best thing ever; can sleep four if you build out the truck bed correctly to make...
I have the Wolfhaus 12v pigtail for the bed 12 volt outlet (2021 Lariat). I’m just using it for USB charging. Of course it times out about an hour after the ignition shuts off. Is there a way to make the accessory power run longer? Can I assume this is a forscan programmable item?
Very sharp! I know what you mean about the big factor. It the Air Force, they traded out my Chevy S-10 for a F-250 4x4 Crew Cab with a 7.6 ltr diesel. I used it to inspect the Goldwater bombing range and it was like driving and parking a semi truck.
Way more than what you're probably looking for, but if you do a lot of truck camping, this Super Pacific X1 is amazing. Only had it a couple months, but slept in it nine nights so far.
Super Pacific
I just drove 3,750 miles from Tucson to Portland and back to have this Super Pacific X1 pop-up tent camper installed. Great trip! Drove mostly 2 lane secondary roads, passed through AZ, NV, OR, WA, ID, MT, and WY. Four hotels and 9 nights in the camper. $767 in gas, averaged 19.5 mpg. Truck...
