  1. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Best thing about eating possum is that after you’ve done, you can floss with the tail.?
  2. Ok...riddle me this lol

Super Tramp… Nice. I had 8-tracks in high school. Even today when I hear some of those songs, I expect to hear the track-change click at the appropriate time.
  3. How about some Jokes [Admin: No Politics, Religion, Nudity, Explicit Posts]

Our driver was a nasty old man that would turn off his hearing aid so the order was always wrong. My mom would get so pissed at him.
  4. Lake Mohave - Lake Mead National Recreation Area

Yes, it was on the NV side, just below the dam, down a dirt road. A government official open the gate. This was in 1989 and I didn't make the arrangements. We used canoes rented on Base. A friend drove the truck and empty trailer to Willow Beach. I'm sure you could find info on the BLM...
  5. Lake Mohave - Lake Mead National Recreation Area

That looks like two very nice off road trips. If you want the easy way to check out the hot springs on the Colorado below Hoover dam, take a river trip from the dam to Willow Beach. I don’t know if they still allow this, but we rented 6 canoes and put in just below the dam. It’s a easy day...
  6. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Drove up to NE Phoenix (actually Mesa) to fly fish on the Salt River. Spent two nights in the pop-up tent. Only caught two fish. Saw a ton of horses on the river.
  7. Do you regret your bed cap?

If your looking to get out of a ground tent, and considering a TOPO Topper, look into these Super Pacific X1s. They aren't cheap, but they are definitely the top of the pop-up tent class. The camper cab-side window drops right out so you can clean the truck's rear window. With the bed platform...
  8. Don't hate me. Another engine oil post

I’ve seen all the oil threads and know it’s a lost cause, but just two honest questions: Why does Ford recommend a blend? If you change it every 5,000 miles, why would blend or full even matter?
  9. 4x8 sheet goods rack

Lay three 8’ 2x4’s in the bed and over the tailgate first to support the plywood. Works like a charm.
  10. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

We have two Havanese. The black one (Lennox Louis) is 16 and hates to travel. The brown one (Chip) is 6 and does ok in the truck but haven't taken him on a trip yet. Don't know how he would handle it, but I will probably find out this spring. The white one is my sister-in-law's, we just watched...
  11. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Dogs are the best! So sorry for your loss.
  12. How many miles on your 2.3L EcoBoost

When I was 20, in the USAF on Guam, I had an old beater Datsun B-510 sedan. I was proud of myself for changing my own oil, until I backed out of the stall, and saw a river of oil on the ground. It seams I stupidly installed the wrong size filter. Live and learn.
  13. What Are You Listening To?

Good deal. Take a bunch the first week or two (I took 4 a day and once I noticed some relief, I dropped down to 2 a day, 1am/1 pm) give it a few weeks to see if it helps. Wish you well.
  14. Spark plugs at 53k

36,000 miles. Same as Hurricayne, just wanted to see what I bought. “Corona stains’” good to know, I though it was excessive heat.
  15. Physical Controls Are Back Because Drivers Are Sick Of Endless Touchscreen Menus

Agree. I still use the radio volume knob, even though there are buttons for it on the wheel.
  16. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Took a 2 night trip up into northern Arizona to fly fish. This is the giant open pit mine in Morenci. The tailings created their own new mountains. Camped on the East Fork of the Black River. I guess people don’t head up here in the winter, I was the only camper in seven campgrounds along...
  17. Ford Ranger Among ‘Most Dangerous’ Pickup Trucks

Luck me, I have the Ranger AND a Mustang. I must be living on borrowed time. Amazing my 88 Ranger never killed me.
  18. What Are You Listening To?

Well, if the tablets don’t help… Ouch!?
  19. What Are You Listening To?

Yeah, tinnitus is terrible. It can drive you insane. Some have said the ringing could be why Van Gogh cut off his ear. Hope this helps you. My flight surgeon said you’re in the lucky minority if it does.
