I installed a Start-X in my 2020, I can start it from the app but it isn't 100% reliable so I wanted to be able to start with the fob as well, install & programming is very easy.

Mines been a bit more reliable but I installed an aftermarket remote start so I could start it with the fob if need be, I just don't trust that the app will always work.
45 is still t-shirt weather here in NH. What you describe isn't new, my 2011 charger turned all the heated goodies on when remote starting if it was 40 or below out, seats, rear defrost, mirrors, steering wheel all fired up.

I'm in the same boat, I make sure to take a drive once a week, long enough that I have to refuel about once a month, and also do a remote start about midweek to let it run for a bit.
When I got the message on the app that remote start was disabled I checked my battery and it was at 12.3 volts. The app deciding I couldn't do a remote start was one of the reasons I installed a kit that lets me remote start with the fob as well, with winter coming I didn't feel like needing it...
