I'm thinking I don't need that, it includes remote start, I already have remote start but I can only start from the app.

Actually I do, but as I said in my OP I can currently only start it from the app, I want to start it with the fob as well.

So my 2020 Ranger has remote start but only through the app, no button on the fob. Is it possible to purchase a new fob that has the remote start button, pair it, and have it work?

In this case it's deserved, that thing is ugly.

I don't notice any excess battery usage on my phone since I installed it, plus some of us need it in order to use the remote start feature.

I understand that, but the part number search brings up a 110v socket, I can't find the 12v socket using that part number.

So I'm gathering the parts to put the factory 12v socket in, when I do a search for the part number (7a2Z-19N236-A) The results I keep getting are for the 110v socket, not the 12v?
