If it automatically checked for updates by wifi after you installed the update, that is most likely how it registered at Ford.

The only thing I can think of for warranty would be if you updated with a non ford program like Cyan Labs. I don't have a lot of faith in Ford chat service from what I've seen so far, are you on 3.4.2251? From everything I have seen Cyan Labs update seems reliable to me.

I also have a 2023, I think Ford just does a poor job of keeping their Vin databases updated. Mine came with 22251 and it says I am up to date also. I am guessing we will be last in line to get the update.

Yes, I have Nav 2.22, I updated that when it came out. I'll check again tomorrow.

Just checked and it says my Truck is up to date. with 22251

I just installed the map update, it restarted once then said it was updating again. When all was done the message told me I had a sync update so I checked and I still have the same version of sync, but the screen boots up much faster then it did before the update. Maps is the new version.

When I downloaded this update it said it was my complimentary free update, I'm guessing I won't get any more free updates either and my Truck is only a month old.

Took a while to load the nav update, the display also told me sync was updated but I still have the same version. I will say the screen loads way faster now than before I did the update.

New map update is available, I'm getting ready to instal it now.

3.4.22251 is what came on my 2023 June build. I haven't noticed any problems yet.
