It can be dangerous when you're sitting at a stop and the brake pedal is slowly lowering, and your foot starts pressing down on the accelerator pedal and brake at the same time.
That kind of says 80 should be the minimum, doesn't it? My battery health has gone from 100% to 80% in the last 6 months, I've never messed with it in forscan, but I'm tempted to now. I put the Noco on it twice a month, thing has stayed over 100% until they fixed a bad connection I had from the...
Looking in the 6g forum, a guy asked where the charge setting was in forscan and one member with a Raptor told him where to look and said when you see an 80 change it to 100. So has Ford upped the charge setting in the newer rangers from 70 or 75 to 80?
Did you check all the battery connections, including the connection under the red boot on the firewall side of the under the hood fusebox? That is the connection that feeds the fusebox. To have that many faults, you need low voltage going to many circuits.
As airline tech said, check all the connections, my 2023 had a slightly loose connection from the factory where the battery connects to the high power fusebox under the hood. I had low voltage readings at times from my power ports, and after a while I started getting all kinds of crazy faults. I...
My 2023 also came with the three bolts, sad thing is I have had three oil changes done at a ford dealership and only the first oil change did they loosen those three bolts. The other two oil changes, they popped the plastic connectors off the bottom of the flap and lost the plastic connectors...
I had all kinds of faults like that, I opened the hood and smelled something hot and thought I saw a little smoke coming from the firewall side of the fusebox. The dealership I bought the truck from towed it back on a flatbed and checked it out. It turned out the battery cable to the fusebox was...
The question I have about ethanol free gas is what kind of detergent additives does this gas have? Where I am at, all the ethanol free 91 octane pumps I have seen say for recreation or small engines only.
My truck has never been below 1/4 of a tank and that was when I ran some fuel system cleaner in the gas, otherwise I never let it go below 1/2 a tank. Why would you even want to push it lower?
Something like this happened to me a week after I bought my truck. The dealership I bought it from and the closest dealership to me couldn't get my truck in for a few days, I had all kinds of DTC's, the main one was I lost power to the ECM. Frustrated that I couldn't get it into a dealership...
When they had warranty info in the app, at least for me, it wasn't completely right anyway. They didn't have my light's warranty included and had mine listed for extra rental, which I had deleted. I called ford protect twice to make sure they had listed what I bought was correct and confirmed...
I updated using Fords download, no problems. If it does reinstall the sync update, maybe it includes other undisclosed fixes. Whatever happened with that Wi-Fi driver vulnerability we had.
Thanks for the replies, my normal routine is the coin-operated spray wash with my own clean wash mitt, then spray a little Meguires spray wax on the still wet vehicle and finally dry it off with a microfiber towel. I was gifted a prepaid card for 10 elite washes and am just trying to decide...
I picked up my 2023 the day it arrived on the lot, I had been watching for Rangers online for a few months with none to be found. I was lucky a dealership about 40 miles away had one in transit that was the exact color and trim with all the options I wanted. I had them value my trade-in and...
