If I ever get to go out exploring again (South Florida is extremely boring and flat), I need this setup for my Jackery 1200. The last time I was out, I just pass-through powered my refrigerator off the truck through the Jackery. I've wanted a back-up for getting out for serious drives, but...
There are a few that have been brought in from South America, so they are here. I've seen a few Brazilian Chevrolet imports down here in South Florida. It could be legit! But...
...I don't trust anybody these days.
The other winch bumper has front parking sensor mounting points and relocation brackets for the cruise control sensor. And I'm pretty sure it'll mount the Badlands winch. (it comes with a winch mounting kit with provisions for multiple winches, but TERRIBLE instructions!)
As for the one you're...
Ha! I used to cruise around with the second Ranger when I lived up in GA. Actually, the add-a-leaf from that truck from the beginning of the video are on my truck. HAHAHA That makes my truck pseudo-famous! ?
RIGHT!? That's why I've been on a Holosun kick. I love the RMR on my GLOCK 34 MOS and I carried that on duty for years. But the side-load battery on the Holosun is just soooooooooo damn convenient! LOL
I shot some YouTube content for work yesterday with my new-to-me Taurus G3C. Man, I am really surprised by this little 9mm, and I like it! But there were some negatives about it. I "filmed" videos for:
How to install aftermarket GLOCK-compatible sights on a slide without specialized tools...
Sa-weet! I scored this G3C for $112 and the cost of the ride. I emailed an industry connection over at Taurus and scored the optic-ready "T.O.R.O." slide for a significant discount. I landed a new Holosun 407C for cost plus 5% (to cover credit card processing). I snagged a couple of new mags...
Yeah, I am not interested in a bunch of whooshing noises like I'm driving Paul Walker's car in F & F!
Interestingly, though, I get a mild whooshing noise from my setup with the snorkel on it, more reminiscent of the Aussie turbo diesel "utes" but without the diesel clatter to back it up.
I know you said that you might want something smaller than the ARB bumper, but let me put forward an argument for getting one. ?
Tis' but a scratch! Absolutely no bending or movement of the bumper. Her car saw all the bending and movement! ?
I am back in the office, back from SHOT Show. And damn, I'm still exhausted! HAHAHAHA
I can't believe this, but I spent some time at the Taurus booth playing with their G3C, and I liked it so much that last night, I "sniped" an auction (kinda) and bought a used one. I'm excited about it!
If you guys feel like having a laugh...
Here I am reporting from SHOT Show: https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/blog/shot-show-2024-news-and-updates
Keep in mind, I'm just a guy walking around with a cell phone making these videos and the results are a little sad. ?
If you have a Ford dealer nearby, see if you can stop by and get your service adviser to pull up your truck. They should be able to see the powertrain codes by pulling up your vin on your computer.
